Yes, this has happened to me, especially if I was crying at night. It usually just lasts part of the day. Adjusting to new glasses could be playing a part too.

I don't think it had much to do with who posted it, things just got a bit out of hand. People will fight when some topics come up, but that's part of life, not a reason to avoid these topics. And I agree with Lemoncake, your posts are most of the time interesting to read and give me ideas to think about. Honestly, when I first started to take therapy more seriously, I remember coming to this forum and reading stuff from you and maybe 2 or 3 other people which gave me enough courage to bring certain things up in therapy and made me understand certain aspects of therapy better.

Aw, thanks! Your nice words/hugs mean a lot to me, too. I'll definitely keep posting on IST, Couch, Dear T, etc.--it's just the starting of my own thread that I might be more cautious about.

Hi DP - I rarely comment but just wanted to say I have followed your posts re attachment/pain of therapy etc and have been very struck by the way you have come through this to a dignified and less painful way of describing your situation despite the many strong opinions about your “t”

I was disappointed to see the thread closed.
It didn't seem like anyone meant any harm in their words but that people were feeling raw emotions and are sensitive to these topics.

I think you contact a mod to close your account. I would doubt you can get them to erase all your posts. Once it's been marked anonymous I can't see what difference it would make
