Other things I can think of:

Baby or sick relative needs something
Needs cigarettes or booze
3 am fast food munchies

Even if she disagreed with your analysis, 80% of what your therapist mentioned is also criminal activity.

ETA: ooh, I like Uber job.

I liked that one, and volunteer fireperson!

(((Ruhroh))) I had the same thing going for a while. There was a suspicious character (i thought) waiting in our apartment lobby every morning. I called the cops, and they were like, did you take your meds today? Then a couple times after that that i called, i could tell i was on THAT list.

Started talking about details of trauma in therapy today. I feel like I need a Girl Scout patch...and maybe Girl Scout cookies too. Which flavor tastes closest too regret, pain and hate?

for SM and whoever else might want:

Cuban Bread

1 pkg yeast
2 cups warm water
2 T sugar
3 t salt
6 cups flour
1/8 cup wheat germ

Dissolve the yeast in the water. Add sugar, with a wooden spoon beat in 2 cups of the flour and salt. Add wheat germ. Add the rest of the flour gradually mixing with wooden spoon until it's thick enough to knead then turn onto a floured surface (I use my counter top), add rest of flour and knead until it's no longer sticky. Grease bowl. Put the dough ball into the bowl and turn to coat with grease. Cover with dish towel and let rise until double. (about an hour or 30 minutes with quick-rise yeast). Punch dough down and let rest 10 minutes. Divide in two and shape into loaves on baking sheet. Cover with dish towel and let rise again 1 hour (or 30 minutes). Brush with ice water and put in cold oven set to 400 degrees F. Bake 20-30 minutes brushing with ice water several times.

eta: when I'm impatient, I don't bother with the 2nd rising. It doesn't really seem to make a difference...

True, but she knows my neighborhood. It is much more likely illegal, just not along the lines of the crime spree I have been on alert about.

So I have been matching up these crimes with his comings and goings. My therapist came up with about 5 other things he could be doing, none of which had occurred to me.

So that has me curious about what kinds of things someone might leave their house in the dead of night for 30-60 minutes. Ideas?

Sadly, I did not make it a whole month without calling police, due to the crime spree. It wasn't to report my suspected neighbor (I am not that far gone), but another issues. I think the crime spree has me on edge, though, so it's been harder to keep from calling LE.

I think I may be officially going off my rocker.

I just got another speeding ticket (>20 over the speed limit) after getting one a few weeks ago.

Except both times, I seem to have blanked out -- the officer today I suppose saw the puzzlement on my face when he was telling me how I was driving dangerously because the first thing he asked was "You have no memory of it, do you?".

And, I had zero clue that I was speeding at all, let alone so much, the previous time as well.

I'm usually very well aware of how fast I'm going and don't zone out much.

I'm really close (if not already past it) of getting my license suspended (had paid up a couple of earlier speeding tickets which are still on my license) unless a lawyer can work a miracle of sorts.

This is just bizarre

Are you under a lot of stress? I had a rough patch of traffic issues due to being absent. I was under a lot of stress at the time. I tried to get centered and present before putting the car in drive, but honestly the only thing that helped was when the stressful family situation calmed down.

Ahh, thanks, that makes sense.....yeah, the stress is a bit much (crazy family stuff part infinity + stuff is really getting piled on with life here) -- I thought I had a handle on all of it but clearly not.

I have been known to go out and drive in the middle of the night or go out on walks if I cannot sleep. During various times when my person was sick - depending on the course the disease and treatment was taking, I would often have to run out to get something for her.

I messed up today.. I did something really more in an acting out way/in healthy coping thing. Really messed up... so I already feel like a failure, but rationally I know even though I screwed up I can make it worse with how I deal with it now, or I can deal with it in healthy ways.

I am now seeing t once a month and I am only one week into once a month so I have a lot of time before next session.. so I can handle this in my own.. right? I don’t need to cut, I don’t need to eat, I can even not contact t by email. This is me trying to be positive, because I am close to freaking the heck out.
