Can you give yourself a night to sleep on it before acting out further? That sometimes helps.

I just acted out by angry texting the therapist, so I'm probably not in a great position to be giving advice. I feel like I can never face the therapist again. Not because the text was angry, but because I was so mad I divulged something without really thinking it through.

3 am is an awkward time for retail. And you can't trade sex wholesale, so I'm guessing he's buying drugs in bulk.

Silly me. You can trade sex wholesale. Maybe he's a pimp and sometimes has to bail-out/provide-drugs-for/identify-the-body-of/otherwise-sort-out one of his customer service providers.

I'm really close (if not already past it) of getting my license suspended (had paid up a couple of earlier speeding tickets which are still on my license) unless a lawyer can work a miracle of sorts.

This is just bizarre

Maybe someone has a duplicate license plate?

Also, anybody know what the chances are that a 1/2 inch mass found on a pancreas is not cancer? Because in my mind my mom has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and has 6 months to live.

He does hold-ups of all-night liquor stores and gas stations.

1/2 an inch is not that big. There are a number of things that could be, and not all of them are life-threatening.

Hugs...I know with my mom's friend, they suspected pancreatic cancer, and it turned out not to be. I forget why they suspected, if they found a mass or not. But she's alive and well like 10 years later. I hope your mom is OK...

ETA: Also, a half-inch is really small--even if it was cancer, maybe they could just remove it?
Thanks for this!

Hmm I wonder if my mom got the size wrong because she said her doctor said this mass was really big.. Anyways.. I have tried not to google too much. But what I did see was that if it is small enough it could just be a cyst.. holding on to that.

She is going in for better imaging next week and then a plan will be out in place afterwards.

I am a bit more relaxed now about this Statistics course I just started Wednesday evening. In our textbook, there's a review of the basic math we'll need to have down. So I just spent the last while working the 120 problems in the skills assessment preview and the skills assessment final exam and got them all right!! Woo! I think I'm gonna be able to do this!

Yeah, mine was a psych stats class. It's not too hard like some other maths. This is applied.

I bought a tent plus accoutrements today (Labor Day sale, thank you REI). If you want to rent a cabin in my part of the US you had better plan well ahead, but a lot of campsites, especially in national parks or forests, are first come, first served. Now I can escape on a whim. I hope my therapist is okay with this. I realize that a lot of my suicidal ideation is tied in with escaping to nature, but sometimes people just need to get away for a while.

So my aunt called me today and i answered the phone and found out that a cousin of mine, a guy a few years younger than me (so like around 60?) is dying of brain cancer. Last time i saw him was just 3 years ago at my mothers funeral, i honestly didnt recognize him, he was sooooo handsome. Like Chris Noth beautiful. So i have to find my passport this weekend, they live in canada, just an hour away. I had a sense of impending doom yesterday, i was gonna write it down and timestamp it. I thought no, im being silly.

NP, I hope it helps. If you’re able to go when you’re feeling safe, getting away for a while in nature can be balancing and refresh your spirit.
