I have never felt compelled to let those guys dictate to me how many mds I can hire. I rarely choose to use any, but if I did, I would see as many as I wanted.
What is this urge to let mds and insurance dictate control over your body?

When my usual doctor is away, I see one of her colleagues. Why doesn't that work here?

I've been journaling and that has helped. I got in touch with my care manager who is looking into other services for me. I'm supposed to see t Thursday but not sure if I should even go. I feel like leaving t during a tough time isn't the best idea so I'll probably keep seeing her until I can find a replacement. I just feel like nobody understands me. I get that some people won't but I feel like t should. There are certain topics I try to discuss and t either mentions referrals or doesn't to want to talk about it. If I went to all the people she referred me to I'd be seeing three ts for three different things which doesn't make any sense, I think I'm just going to try to find a t who is at least willing to try to do it all.

Insurance requirement maybe?

Question for the couch scholars: what's the correct pronunciation of the name Caia Caecelia (as in the Latin goddess of fire and women)? Is the first sound K or S?

If it's a latin word, it should be pronounced like a k. Unless how pronunciation changes is different than in my mother language. Should be k according to wikipedia as well.

Also, my hand seems to be healing nicely, was allowed to take off my cast today. Still some rounds of antibiotics to go, then I should be fine.

It's the clinic's rule that I must see their primary to see their doctors. It's the insurance rule that I can only have one pcp (might be the clinic's rule too). However, I can see a colleague if I can't get in to see my primary. But I think it has to be a colleague. I'll ask my Pdoc when I see her.

It’s also Gaia Caecilia, which should help you remember. More like a G for the first C, then more like a K as CNS says for the second.

The Gaia/Caia should also be three syllables.

Of course no one speaks Latin anymore, so you can do what you want.

A few of the ones I interviewed had policies not to charge if the appointment was rescheduled that same week. The second might have. It never really came up because she was late/had a couple of last minute cancellations on her end - so it would have been fun for me had she tried.
