I'm feeling the weight of the last couple of years today. This anticipatory grief is really terrible and it's making the events of the last few years come to the forefront for some reason. On the night of the fire, the cops took me down to a church parking lot where they had set up two trailers for the crisis negotiation unit and i guess the swat team. I sat in the police vehicle for hours in what I now realize was shock at the events that were unfolding around me. I drive past this church every day on the way to work. It's never bothered me before. Today it brought up panic and sadness. Then I started feeling like I was a b**ch because I refuse to talk to him. My brain is seriously scrambled today.

It's donut day at work, which is cool. And we have a party at 12 to celebrate the owner's birthday. And so far at least, the day isn't going too bad. It's been a crap week. Tomorrow I hope to go visit Grandpa in the assisted living facility, and clean out my closet, it's a mess. Kit.

una, so often you remind me of one of my dearest and oldest friends. I even “hear” your posts in her voice sometimes because reading them is so much like a conversation with her.

That is totally something she’d say.

After everything he put you through NP, nobody would think you were being a
----. You owe him nothing. Your mental health comes first and it's best to avoid contact with him as much as possible.

How do you feel after seeing the chiropractor? I think I'd like to see one I've had upper back pain for more than a year. I did weekly massages for a while but ho hum it's still there.

I am a fan of acupuncture and chiropractors. Yesterday did not work miracles, but I did have 2 motorcycle accidents and a bicycle wreck in an 18 month period - two out of the three busted the helmet I was wearing - so I slammed down pretty hard and I just limped around for 5 or so years without really doing much about it. While I felt better after leaving for a bit- I don't doubt it is going to take more than one appointment.

Want a laugh? Doing math homework when sleep deprived produces interesting results. Somehow I thought 10÷5=5. No wonder my z-score looked wonky by the time I got there. Ha!!

Artie, I thought of you! I was using algebra (not stats...unfortunately) to calculate employee benefits...It was fun though. I had some of the numbers but not all so I just made equations and solved for x.

Today was an HR day. At least everyday is different. Sometimes its HR. Sometimes its purchasing. Sometimes its accounting. Sometimes it's finance. Occasionally it is sales, although I haven't done that in a while since we got another sales person. And my day is almost over. 40 minutes and then the weekend. I feel productive today. I don't feel as anxious as I did yesterday when I was dealing with all the banking institutions and trying to fill out loan paperwork. That wiped me out. I'd rather do benefit calculations all day long. Definitely less stressed today. I have one big pending item that won't be resolved in 40 minutes but for the most part my Monday morning shouldn't be ridiculous barring the unforeseen. My desk is mainly clear. And I see Tony the Tiger T on Monday after work. I'm starting to really look forward to it. I wonder if that means I'm addicted...I hope the appointment lives up to my expectations. (((hugs))) to anyone who needs one/wants one! Kit.
