The rest of the room might be a challenge to draw--it's a pretty big office. And if I included all the plants and tchotchkes...(sp?)

I read the last word as artichokes before I googled it, you've got the spelling right.

Ooooo sitting closer is a big thing and I can understand better because of the diagram!

I'm sorry about your nephews game. Could you try to take some time out just to rest up and stop you getting worse?

Do you have a manager or co-worker to get the missing numbers from?

Can't really take time off this week because I have to get the year end done. But I rested yesterday and Thursday (Thanksgiving) will be really low key. Just me and my parents.

I'm waiting on other departments to get me the corrected inventory figures but I don't think they have them. I think they did the inventory incorrectly or the database isn't calculating the numbers correctly because the numbers just don't make sense. But the President of the company will be coming to me for final numbers and I don't have them. He is aware of the situation but he gets impatient. So I'm hoping he doesn't come in today and that the other departments get the numbers corrected. I keep checking the database but it isn't changing. Sigh. Kit.

I'm sorry I forgot to add the word hate xDDD. I've seriously noticed that I skip words out an awful lot.

I'm not going to judge those that do though. In my wild days (second year) I tried to smoke marijuana, 3/4 times but it never really worked for me. I haven't tried real cigarettes and I've never drank alcohol. I've pretended to though, but it was just 100% sprite at a party.

9 years is a fantastic gap! I'm proud of your hard work LT. What made you want to stop?

LOL re: the "hate" part! I mostly stopped after moving in with H (before we were married). He very occasionally smoked when drinking, so I'd sometimes smoke with him--we had this really old pack of Camel Lights that tasted awful, so that helped! But then I just got away from it, I think from not hanging out with friends who smoked and feeling I had to sneak it if I was at home. Then pregnancy definitely knocked it out. A fascinating thing about pregnancy is how it heightens the sense of smell, like I could smell a glass of wine from across the room (I think it's a protective thing?) But anyway, so not just wanting to safe while pregnant, but smoke smelled awful to me. So I got away from it. Do I still crave a cigarette at times when I'm stressed? Sure. But haven't succumbed.

I also managed to quit (caffeinated, non-diet) soda. If only I could manage to do the same with drinking--well, maybe not quit entirely, but cut way back to like a drink a day or less--then I'd be great! Though maybe therapy is a bit of an addiction, too...

Well the inventory numbers are still not right at work so I can't finish the year but I did get the depreciation schedules done and so I feel good about that. I'm much more "capable" in my work life than I am in my outside of work life. I feel like (mostly) I know what I'm doing at work and I am competent and capable there. But away from work I feel like I'm 12 and not doing a good job at life. Weird. Kit.

I'm kind of squicked out by the last one too, the guy with the bride in his pocket. Ew.

Anyone else with Amazon shipping delays? Like "Sorry, your package was supposed to arrive today, we think it might arrive tomorrow or Wednesday, but if it doesn't arrive by Thursday, let us know." Like, why am I paying for Prime again? (I've had this issue multiple times lately, plus "oops, your package got damaged and was returned to us, we'll refund" when it's something I needed.)

I haven't had that. I know they have very good customer service, if you call maybe they will give you something free.

I’ve had this issue a couple times as well recently, but a facility near me was damaged or destroyed recently so I am assuming it has messed up their supply line in some way.

Someone put my empty garbage bin inside my yard. Why would they do that? Do they think i need help? Is it a friendly neighbour thing? I have been limping more than usual this last week. maybe thats it. they thought they were helping.

I’m pretty sure I’m at least 15 years younger than either of you.

Wanna be a substitute mother figure?

This happened to me recently. I left mine out overnight with the plan that I'd drag it to the house before work the next morning. I had the same reaction. Do they think I'm lazy or are they just being neighborly? I decided not to worry about it because they saved me a few minutes of trouble.

I don't deserve my therapist. He left me a lovely voice mail, almost 2 minutes long before he left for his holiday. And he's going to call me on Thanksgiving day and on Sunday and maybe Saturday too because he knows I've been struggling a lot lately. He said he wants to do this because he's really invested because I've been doing hard work with him lately. It feels nice to know you're not completely alone.

I assumed this was some kind of cookie for use in a Jewish ritual.
(You dip it in honey and give it to the boy during circumcision.)
