Lovely kitty. I am trying to upload my dog in a santa suit but things arent working again in pc land.
The heatwave continues here. I have no air conditioning and i am spending most of my time monitoring the pets esp the fluffbutt as he wont let us trim him. My old fridge blew the motor because D left the freezer open. The newerr fridge is downstairs so if you need anything you have go out in the heat. It is too hot to do ANYTHING including eat i am starting to feel a bit woozy now. And i am running out of things to wear. End of whinge.

Update on Peaches: She's doing really good. Doctor said it's healing well and that she can have her cone off now. He said another 4-6 weeks and she'll be fully healed. But still no playing for now

Glad to hear your puppy is doing okay, Scarlet. She will be able to play again in time, she can still bond with you, maybe that might be beneficial as well as fun and pleasant for both of you?

Speaking of pets, I'll get either a cat or degus when I've moved into a bigger place.

I have one cat that chews things and he just chewed the cord on the christmas lights. Unbelievable. At least the one who likes to knock things ove hasnt tackled the tree yet.

Today is a s-l-o-w day at work. I finished all my work in the first hour or so, so that left 8 hours to just fill up with stuff. I read a book, it was only like 200 pages but still. I've looked at Amazon, posted on PC, looked over some emails for my boss, downloaded the UPS holiday schedule, researched the IRS mileage reimbursement rate for my boss and now I'm b-o-r-e-d. I'm amazed I get paid because most days I'm not that busy. There's a few days in the month where I'm extremely busy but the rest of the time I'm not all that busy. But I'm here if someone needs me, like my boss needs me sometimes, or I'll step into sales, or shipping, or whatever. But still, it's a weird feeling. I still have a little more than an hour and a half left today and nothing to do. I should have brought my Christmas cards to address. I thought about it, and then I left them at home. Kit.
P.S. The guy who did this job before me, and made like $14 more an hour than me, made like a bazillion spreadsheets for everything, even stuff that didn't need a spreadsheet. I think he was bored too. The spreadsheets might have been more productive but they really aren't necessary. And he highlighted everything.

Giving an additional headsup that the trigger box really is triggering (for sui) and also kind of horrible otherwise, so please don't read it if you're affected by such things! I'm not in any danger our anything, nor is anyone I know. I don't have lots of people to share this with before talking to my T next Wednesday and I'd like to get it off my chest.

Possible trigger:

On my way home, the train I was on hit somebody. It was less bad than I expected it to be given my history, it didn't bother me a whole lot. The only weird thing was people talking about how they can't imagine feeling this way and thinking like this and I was sitting there thinking about how there's times I think of things like these every day.
After two hours, we were able to continue our journey. Initially they thought they'd just get everyone off at the nearest station and we'd continue by bus. For some reason that didn't happen and we drove the additional 15 minutes to the final stop.

I walked by the engine for some reason. Probably morbid curiosity, this is the way of suicide I think about the most, even though I could never go through with it in this way. Two things really surprised me: One, there was some kind of really off smell. It didn't smell bad necessarily, just weird. Definitely not the way I expected.

Two, I feel really bad about saying this that way, but I don't know how to word it and it's the only part I'm really still thinking about and that really upset me, for whatever reason... they didn't clean up properly aftewards. I can understand them not being able to change the engine, and also not wanting to delay the schedule further so they just went with that train... but they could have at least checked the train a bit better, even if that meant delaying us for five more minutes. It doesn't bother me that I saw something, if it did I wouldn't have walked by that spot. But in a country where normally everyone tries 200% to do things properly and the right way, this feels as though they didn't really care at all, they didn't care about the person's dignity or I'm not sure... it just doesn't really feel right.

Well, my boss just handed me some paperwork on a customer of ours, so at least I will have something to do to make myself useful for the next x amount of minutes. Kit.

Yes, it's the puppy.

We're keeping her in her cage. It's a nice cage, but small. She can turn around and stand up, but not much else. It has a nice cushy padding, a toy, and a water bowl. We potty train the dogs on pads, and we have the bathroom closed off for her to use. At night though, she sleeps in bed with me. She's become a good sleeper. That's when we really bond.

Now I’m having a snack, my Christmas tree is lit and I’m relaxing watching Rudolph. I know it’s silly I’m watching a Christmas cartoon but I’ve always enjoyed the classics since I was a little girl.

Ive only started watching some recently. My favorite is the elf who wants to be a dentist. I always felt i was in the wrong trousers.
