You were half way there:

Covered with ribbons and
Labeled with tags;
Buried in packages,
Boxes, and bags;
I tucked away tape
In a safe place;
Now I must take command,
But I’ve only two hands!

I learned the Japanese way of wrapping which I can't begin to explain, but I love doing it!

Um...is the wine replacing the tape somehow?

This hotel is awesome so far. Way (way) less expensive than the resorts I'd checked out but I swear it's just as nice. I found a gem, I did. Next time I need a local getaway I'm coming here again! Tomorrow I plan to spend the day at a botanical garden kind of place near my hotel, wandering the nature trails and taking pictures.

She did have her mfa already.

The sales people that worked there would all bring their personal christmas gifts they'd bought for family/friends and have me wrap them lol! i must confess i wrapped my own there too!
Awesome!

If you hear a knock on your door, it's me, bearing gifts and wrapping paper. And wine. You can show me how to wrap the presents all fancy.

No kidding! una, that made me laugh really hard. I know those half rolls are around somewhere.

Maybe all of my disappearing half-finished rolls of tape ran off to join yours!

I did find my tape. It was in the box of tags and markers. Which totally makes sense.

Wine can replace a lot of things.

(Not tape, maybe. Not so much.)

Okay, I desperately need a humorous distraction because I am tired of a panic attack every night the past five nights.

Where can I find this Big Bang Theory so many of you love?

It is showing right now on tbs -but I don't think you will like it.

Might I suggest youtube Pirates of Penzance or The Mikado - they have full length productions.
I watch them when I am plagued by nightmares.
And Hot Wet American Summer (I think funny) or Waiting for Guffman.
and a recent foray into youtube had a compilation Lucille Bluth - reminded me a lot of my mother

Oh, yeah, nightmares too, all either about 2ex, or violent, or both.

My graders just came through, so I think I may submit final grades instead.

Why do you think I wouldn’t like the Big Bang Theory? Is it a musical?

Note I did not suggest my other go-to watching - The Music Man, Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls, and All That Jazz (although you might enjoy All That Jazz - not a usual musical)

You guys, my son looked so happy and content today sitting on his futon in his new living room after we grocery shopped, in his very own space, it just made my heart glow. I love him so much and am so proud of him. I just can't be sad for me because I'm so happy for him!

I wish I could "Thank"/like this more than once. I love it.

I googled "Japanese wrapping" and got this really cool YouTube video. Not only was there paper wrapping, but then she (I'm assuming from the hands) wrapped the package in fabric, which was super cool. I use fabric for wrapping sometimes, and wrapping on the diagonal like that was kind of neat. I might try it.

I bought a Glade candle today called "cashmere woods" I lit it when I got back to my room from dinner it smells soooo good. So much for writing tonight. I'm gonna go take a shower (no tub here or I'd take a hot bath) then go to bed early and see what my dream-maker has for me tonight. I haven't remembered a dream since last Saturday night and I've been waiting for a follow-up to it! Night couchies!
