Good morning couch, coffee's on. In the spirit of this being the last day of Christmas vacation, I woke up at 6 am. It's housework day in this neck of the woods, ugh. Have a great day couchies.

That's true, I imagine he could have gotten in trouble for that. (Not being specific, since Art just started watching!) |

Maybe I did seem approachable, or because I was hanging with D for part of it? I generally only see these kids once a year, and the one who kept asking me to play a game with me might have been young enough last year to not remember me. He also asked if I lived in the house (nope!) The one girl (his sister) was quite (how do I put this kindly...) controlling. Like seemed to be cheating in the one game to completely dominate it, being like "No, you did it wrong!" to this one girl while we were playing Trouble, saying "you cannot speak until I tell you" to a few kids (including my D). Perhaps she will be a leader one day... On the plus side, my D seemed to enjoy interacting with the other kids (granted, they were at least a year younger than her), which is encouraging (with the ASD). |

Wow I must have slept good last night despite the bizarre dream! I'm so awake and in 2 hours have already researched/responded to 15 messages from members.

I think I may have found a receipe to cut my craving for pizza. In the video they used very thin sliced chicken breast, baked them, then added cheese, sauce and pepperoni.
I will probably try it tomorrow. I have a feeling it might taste like chicken parm and not pizza-but maybe it will help with the cravings. I blew my diet last night and ate nachos but I’m starting over today. I also cried in my nachos over my dog and over blowing my diet, but today I woke up a little more confident I did the right thing yesterday and hopefully in 48 hours my body will be back in ketosis. |

When I tried to be vegetarian-I actually ended up gaining some weight. I need meat in my life. I do mostly chicken..sometimes beef. Tonight I am having steak. The rest of the week-chicken. |

I've also heard of cauliflower-crust pizza and have seen some in stores (like in frozen section)--I think that would be low-carb, too. And try not to beat yourself up over the nachos--you just lost your pet. ![]() |

I tried a frozen cauliflower pizza and I thought it was not palatable. Not the flavor necessarily, but the texture was both incorrect for pizza and disgusting as a texture on its own.
I have found the approach of throwing cauliflower into everything and pretending it is close or equal or even palatable to be a bad plan for most of the areas I have tried it. And I like cauliflower on its own.

If it helps, I have heard vets say that rarely do pet owners act too quickly or hastily to put their pet down. It is worse when people wait too long.

I tried one of the frozen cauliflower crust ones not long ago. It was really tasty, although expensive. I need to find a good recipe.

There's lower carb flour to make pizza crust out of, like always I am not a baker so I never tried. Don't beat yourself up about it Jersey. In the long run this was just a blip. You're grieving, it's allowed.

I have been doing a lot of myofacial work with the chiropractor and am using foam rollers and balls at home. It seems to be helping a lot but it is incredible to me how much pain sitting on one little tennis ball or using a roller on my upper legs can still cause. Sometimes I wonder if it seems like it is helping because of how good it feels when I am finished with the exercises and get off the roller or the ball.

They use those rollers on my husband right now as he is getting that new knee to work. He has the same response: it is painful, but does seem to be helping in the long-run. This knee replacement surgery has been a painful and difficult recovery.

So today would be milestone birthday for my H's deceased brother. H doesn't seem to have noticed the date (he said a few weeks ago that he would visit the cemetery the day after the birthday, but I just asked him what his plans are for tomorrow and he said he doesn't have any).
I have a dilemma about whether or not to remind him. I am concerned if he forgets he might feel guilty, but on the other hand maybe he doesn't want reminding? Any advice couch? |

I would leave it be. I would find being reminded to be a pressure on me to act or do something.

I feel like the universe or "God" (if he's real) hate me, no matter what happens in my life, the instant something seems to be going on a good road, it backfires. Everything that was looking up since T left has already backfired. I'm exhausted and just don't get why I'm so worthless and what I did to get this constant **** luck in life.

I remember when people used to go to malls to walk if the weather was bad. I think it was big with people who were retired.
