I might use it for a bit. It seems good. There was a weight loss show with a trainer called Chris who always gave out gift cards "from our friends at walmart".

Yay I'm happy for you. Though I'm booking an appointment to dye my long black hair which falls past my boobs red just before exams.

I'm feeling overwhelmed and beyond my capabilities at work lately. I wrote some code (and am probably the only person who knows what the hell it's actually doing) that went live last July. It now has written over 1.4 million rows into our database. Somehow, someone found the row that has a few pieces of data missing and expects me to explain why it's missing and figure out if any of the other rows are missing data. Ack! I'm stressed!

Step 1. Blame someone else: Does any other code touch that data?

It does sound stressful- checking 14 million rows?

Can you ask management for help?

Haha. I wish. Luckily the team I work with is pretty healthy and doesn't engage in pointing-the-finger type games. When something goes awry, we just deal with the problem. People make mistakes. It's still stressful knowing you're expected to come up with a solution when it's hard to even wrap your head around the problem.

T finally responded! He was glad for the warning that H may come... now I bet H will back out. T will not work with both of us (thank god) but will make a referral. Going to throw hubby out part way through cuz I need T time just for me. The warmth and kindness in his email nearly melted me into tears and I am at work... the worst part is he doesn’t think he is being particularly warm and fuzzy it is just the contrast. He didn’t mention the mess I am taking so I hope I am not in too much trouble (I used to be on them years ago and went back on that dose... from a family member that is on it). Is it tomorrow yet??? We h, and I REALLY hope hubby cleans up and puts clean clothes on... T is a neat freak... usually I wouldn’t care... but it is T.

Waiting for the cable guy to come.
One of life's little tortures.
ETA : Also, the robocall I received 40 mins ago said that he was on his way; on his way from where? Ugh.

Today's poetry prompt is "write a 'senses' poem that uses one or more of your senses". Then it lists the 5. And that got me thinking. How someone reminded me recently that feelings aren't facts. Well, I suppose that's why feelings are not one of the 5 senses!! Yet i have always always thought of them as such. This is a revelation this morning.
SD tells you that all the time. Between that and the pickle jar poem, she’s like your Muse.

I used to have a cat that looks just like your flame point, Art. So cute!

T yesterday she'd help me when I'm ready to get the paperwork for an emotional support animal. H and I have been looking at adopting a dog. It'll be nice to have a pet again.

Well its still the first thing i would look at. Has anybody else been touching my data?! (cuz the computer can check that for you fast, right?) Did somebody run a fix using an old segment definition that excluded these fields? Something like that? People are always so SURE their work is okay that they dont have to tell you about it, is the kind of crap i would get.

Also, dont forget zero is a number, its not null. It exists. Somebody didnt populate it? I miss work!!!
Thanks for this!

Flame point - is that what he is? I never knew that. He was born mostly white and has gotten oranger over the years.

I had a cat with similar markings, but more white on the body. I was told he was an F1 cross breed, flame point Siamese (sometimes called red point). He also had crossed blue eyes. Their points darken seasonally.
