Yay. My mother also just microwaves potatoes sometimes and they cook themselves in around 8-9 mins depending on the size.

I saw R.

"I know you're sad, and I'm here for you if you will let me."

I still told him I wouldn't be around next week.

Yeah, that's really not OK. You're doing him a favor by bringing him ice cream in the first place. (I mean, my D will yell at me about that, but she's 8.) I hope he's on better behavior today.

Aw, that's a nice thing for him to say. Did it help to hear that?

I decided to take an online poetry class while I am on my vacation (the Poetry in America one). I decided to start with the class on modernists and work backwards, so currently I am reading Frost. It’s nice

I wooed my person by being cynical about Frost (I hate the stopping in the woods poem) (okay I really don't like most of frost) because I thought she was being sarcastic about his poetry. Turns out, she was not. The wooing worked in a backhanded sort of way because she made it a mission to change my mind about it. (didn't work).(the changing my mind part I mean - the wooing part did).

I don't think Madame T ever listened to the CD I gave her of my music compositions and that makes me sad.

Wow...if I had ever yelled at my parents about bringing me ice cream too slowly or in fact anything else, at any age, I would not have gotten the ice cream.

Same here. I'm not on the spectrum, though (or at least not diagnosably so).

I can't even imagine what would have happened to us if we had done that as children. And along with whatever they did to us at the moment, we would have never gotten ice cream ever again.

I don't even let the dogs get pushy about treats. If they whine or paw at me when I am getting them - they have to lie down for a couple of minutes and don't get the treat at that time. (The one to whom I gave tater tots after herding not withstanding -and even with her I was stern if she got nudgy about treats in my pocket)

Oh, I don't generally rush any faster if she's yelling at me. She also often will want me and/or H there *right that second* when she calls us to do something, but we're giving a lot more pushback on that lately. Like "I can't be there right now. I can be up in 15 minutes." Then try to ignore her if she keeps asking for us. We're trying to let her run the household less as she gets older and make her use her words (she's quite verbal now, likely a year or two behind in language still, but that puts her at the level of a 6-year-old).

I wrote a paper in college about that poem. The pompass *** instructor "corrected" the title of the poem wrongly and took points off that I argued since I had stated it correctly. I love that poem and it's one of several of his that I still know by heart haha

We sang it in choir in high school. I will be humming it in the back seat unless someone throws me tater tots or pop tarts to shut me up.

I SH-ed this morning after not doing it yesterday. I have a feeling tomorrow's T session is going to be a mess because I can't begin to think how I'm going to explain all of this. Maybe because it's not rational. It's all emotional. I don't even know what the emotions are about though. I'm getting stressed about tomorrow! HUGS Kit

I love “pompass ***.”

What did he correct the title to?

Stuff doesn't just have to be rational. Maybe you could email T your posts here, so you wouldn't have to explain?

I would have been slapped. Had to be good only.

Think you've trained your dogs well, but that would never work with Belle.
