My art class was **** I got to take the painting in to work on and what I wanted was some constructive criticism and I did have reference photos but to me a reference photo is just that, a reference I didn't want to copy the photo entirely. She was going on about the ship that I had sketched in how it wasn't the same. I kept on saying I wanted help with painting waves in the end I painted over the stupid sea to make it darker. I only had the reference photo on my phone and couldn't enlarge it. Then she kept telling me things I already know. I could have worked all that out on my own. I am not going for the last 2 classes. I feel like I am not communicating what I want very well. Maybe it was a misunderstanding on exT part but I have feeling it partly wasnt
She kept saying if she could see the pic better she could help me. I just wanted the techniques for painting waves also the lighting was pretty ****

Totally overwhelmed after today's session. I went back to work, but I'm crying at my desk. I should've gone for tater tots instead.

Moving people are almost finished. H is with my dad retrieving the husky. H finally found a home for him. There are SO many boxes. The apartment is full to capacity. I'm overwhelmed. I'm sure I can get it organized with time...if H doesn't bug me. But so far so good.

I had a therapy session today, and I am restless and can't settle. Thank goodness for routines. I am cooking tonight: Pulled pork and apple sandwiches with homemade bbq sauce and lime-pineapple slaw. Lots to chop, and I started another batch of homemade mustard.

Ugh. I feel horribly restless. If I get done chopping and need more busy-ness, there's beans and sunflowers to plant in the garden.

Hugs, I'm glad you found a home for the husky. No rush to organize it all at once.

Hugs, I find that cooking tends to calm me, too. Lime-pineapple slaw sounds amazing! (I'm sure the rest is great, too, but I'm vegetarian). I get the restlessness. I had an intense session today as well. It's hard to figure out where to put all the feelings, how to process them.

Hugs all around to those who want.

While visit with mom is going well, h is back to being a condescending *** to me. Now he's in there taking his temperature likely trying to get out of going to son's graduation this evening so he can watch tv instead. Remind me again why I didn't get out in Feb when I had a golden opportunity?!

Hugs, Art...I wonder if your H is reacting in some way to your Mom being there? Not that it excuses his actions...hope he still goes to your son's graduation.
Thanks for this!

The lime-pineapple slaw was super easy. I just made it up, since I found a half a cabbage and a lime in the fridge, and pineapple left from putting pineapple juice in the pork marinade: Half a cabbage, a couple grated carrots, zest of the lime, the pineapple chunks chopped fine. Sauce is the lime juice, the rest of the pineapple juice plus some pineapple chunks, a little honey, sprinkle of chipotle powder, spoonful of mayo, s&p all thrown in the blender. It tastes pretty good.

I just called H and told him I'm overwhelmed. His response: "Well, it has to get done".

If you wait long enough, it will go away on its own. Or just sort of harden but it doesn't really hurt anything but eventually it will go away (rain, snow, freezing and thawing etc will do its thing in time). (My housekeeping philosophy is a tad lax)
In my house the dogs compete to see who gets to clean up after the cats. It is like they think they are vending machines or something. I would be more concerned a dog would fall out of the window licking too hard on the screen.

And as to tater tots. I had one dog who trained me to buy her tater tots after her (more my) herding lesson every week or so. When we would get close she would stand up in anticipation and if I passed up the Sonic(I think it sonic that has them), she would start crying and generally giving an oscar level performance of despair until I turned around to get them. The one time the place was closed (fire I think) I had to buy her a whole mcdonald's hamburger. She rejected the fries.
But she wasn't spoiled or anything.

Home nurse saw the bandage on my stomach while cleaning the other wound. I was trying to hide it but my daughter kept trying to lift my shirt up to nurse. She asked what's up with the bandage and I told her "Nothing." She asked if I wanted her to look at it, and I told her no and she respected that and said she respected my honesty. She seemed content with me telling her that I told my T that I SHed last night and she left it at that.
