Is there a fear that if you go back to therapy it will cause strife in your marriage?
Thanks for this!

I fell out of bed for the first time in decades a couple weeks ago. Think it was due to something in a dream.

Speaking of which, last night I dreamt a long strange dream that I don’t remember except for the bit where new cat was sitting in a toilet bowl glaring at me. Maybe I tried to toilet train her?

I think I'm okay. Just a carpet burn on my knee. I was already awake and was just trying to sit up in bed. I was too close to the edge and slipped right off. Made me late for therapy.

I like my high bed. I'm just not used to it.

Thanks for all the vibes and etc. Son is up and eating pudding and a turkey sandwich. The procedure was successful, we go home in an hour, normal light activity tomorrow, follow up appointment in 2 months. Whew. He will be glad to be home and so will I.

Modern medicine is amazing. I’m a little in awe that it’s been this simple.

Hugs to wfs and son but I see I am too late. I had a very busy dream it involved buses and trucks and me trying to get somewhere on a deadline. I woke up exhausted.
The cat who can open and close doors has been slamming my bedroom door in the other cats face I had to get up and stop it because i was concerned the other cat would get hurt.

Glad it all went well! It is amazing what they can do nowadays.

Your son had WPW? My H had that too. He's doing well besides his hypochondria. Make sure to watch for anxiety. I've read it's very common afterwards. H is still dealing with it though he finally has a pscyh appointment Monday.

They did ask him, "Did you have a bowel movement yesterday?" and he thought about it, smiled, nodded. It was classic teenage boy. I wish I'd gotten it on camera.

Hee hee. This made me giggle (much needed) when I read it, because he's 6'2" and his feet are twice the size of mine.

That's great to hear, WFS.

I am so impressed that he is eating like that. Anesthesia and I never get along that way afterwards.

I am absolutely the same way.

I have had multiple surgeries and no anesthesiologist (I cringe when I see them coming) seems to be able to handle this issue, no matter how much I warn them. I am nauseated for about a week afterwards, ugh.

Kidlet had a dinner dance at school, I met girlfriends for drinks while she was there. I really do enjoy socializing, but I really can only handle small doses. Have a happy Friday couch!

Home nurse came by today. Said my wound is basically healed, which is good. She kept on about watching out for an infection because my temp was really low 96.2 and said that can happen esp if I don't have a spleen. I have another spot that I've been keeping a bandaid on, and she told me if I want her to look at it she will. I have the imprint of the bandaid on me because I'm sensitive to adhesive.

Next week is the music festival that I go to every year and the one that my exT plays at every year. It is quite small and it will be 10 weeks since we terminated and I don't feel comfortable going this year but it's something I really look forward too. I have behaved quite unhinged in the wake of the last session and sent all kinds of weird texts and now I can't contact him at all but that hasn't stopped me. Usually I can navigate the festival to mostly avoid him but a part of me wants a confrontation, I don't know if I should go. I don't know if I should wait til closer to the festival to decide as I am not camping this year but buying a day pass.

BCM, I'm glad you're painting again. I have no advice about the festival, if I felt like going and it's something I was looking forward to I wouldn't let him stop me. However, if the urge to force confrontation is strong, do you think you're prepared to handle the fallout from that?
Thanks for this!
