I've never tried cbd oil. I wonder if it would show up in an employer drug test thing (my work does random ones)?
Thanks for this!

If you get one that doesn’t include THC, I think you should be ok. Maybe someone else could answer better?

L showed up in my dream last night. Been waiting haha. Of course in the dream she was being all pushy about me coming back to therapy. Subconsciously must be what I want. Meh.

Today in talking about authority figures and people who I think are pulled together, I was saying how part of me wants to be accepted by them. And I said something about how I’ve shown him all my mess but he hasn’t gone running out the door. Me: “then again, I guess that’s your job. To deal with peoples messes.” T: “if I couldn’t, I’d be doing a lot of running! And I probably wouldn’t have much of a practice.” Me: “you’d be doing very short-term therapy.”

In other news, journal club went well, despite the fact that I'd been all worried and annoyed about it. One of the faculty members who attended even emailed the rest of the journal club faculty saying that my presentation had been quite good and he was sending along some "best practices" from the talk I'd given--I'm pleased as punch!

I keep catching myself stress eating. I need to knock it off. At least I’m catching myself though? I guess that part is a plus? That I’m totally aware I’m stress eating? Not like that’s stopping it though.

Protein! Protein! Protein!

Btw, i had bought a variety of freeze dried veggies and kept waiting for my kitchen to be clean enough for me to actually use them. Well i finally made some veggie soup last night, and i must say, it was about as crappy as anything i make with fresh veggies. So i guess thats a success. And it sure made me pee - musta been high in potassium. Actually it didnt taste too bad, i do like a good veggie soup. I think next time i will start a grain or some lentils cooking while i rehydrate the veg. Slowly moving away from instant gratification for dinner.

Awareness is a step in the right direction. I’ve become much more mindful of my drinking in the past few months. And I think it’s an important step.

I'm a huge comfort eater- chewing gum helps a bit as does drinking water instead.

I overheard the nurse briefing someone right before he went back, and she said, "He's very calm, very nice kid." I loved that. He is.

I'm just googled the facility map and I'm going to find the coffee shop.

Sending positive vibes to little fuzzy socks.

Art, maybe your poetry class can distract you?

I think you’re just at that point in your pattern when you want to be in therapy.

It already is as I just spent my lunch break doing homework. You are right about my pattern. Maybe I can write a poem about breaking unwanted patterns....
