Gorgeous!

Eta - ive done a lot this morning. Groceries will be arriving shortly, i put the fitted mattress pad and the fitted sheet on the bed (2 corners at a time with a ten minute break in between!), and i took a quick shower, thats like the 4th one this week! Now im going out to meet the shipt guy with a cart so he doesnt break his arms carrying everything up. This is more than i usually do in a week.

Yes, I would. He's not going to offer something that he doesn't want to do and feels like you need. He can take care of himself. If you feel it will be beneficial to you, then accept it without guilt.

I know with mine, I've tried to turn him down in the past, not because I didn't want to talk with him, but because I didn't want to be a burden and I felt like he needed his vacation time free of me. He's told me that he would feel better if we could talk, so that kind of gave me some room to accept his offer. We've never really done a full session though. It's more of an extended check-in. Once we tried Skype but I didn't really care for that at all. The video was all jangly and he was outside and I could hear other people and I started to wonder if they could hear me talking. Funnily, I still couldn't make eye contact even over video and I thought it would be easier.
Thanks for this!

If a therapist told me they would feel better about something if I did X - I would not have done X. I never considered the therapist feeling better about anything to be of interest to me.

Hi everyone! I recently got a weighted blanket. I really like it for anxiety and autism. I wish it were heavier actually. I got it at Target. For like $60. I had looked at some online that were $120 to $200 so I was really looking forward to trying the Target one. You can't wash it though which kind of stinks bc I have cats. Cat hair! It's really soft though. And the weight feels good. Just wish it were heavier. Anyone else found a good one they liked? Since I've tried the Target one and know that it works for me, now I'm willing to shell out more for a more expensive one....HUGS Kit

I just found out my sister is coming for a visit for four days (with the five nieces and nephews!) I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of them for four days!!! I'm trying to get time off of work--but weird with the new company and all. But I'm excited to see the children! The children were begging their Mom...take us on a vacation, take us on a vacation. So she's coming up to the desert (from the beach) where it's supposed to be 104 here today! Who knows how hot it will be when she comes at the beginning of August! HUGS Kit

Don't they make covers for like down/feather quilts? That you can remove and wash? Might work for a weighted blanket too.
Thanks for this!

I was thinking that would work, too—I have a duvet cover and it keeps my blanket clean from cat hair, and it’s washable. You can get heavier weight ones too that would add to the blanket weight if you like, too.

I like the one I got--YnM weighted blanket from Amazon. It's on sale right now, $54 for twin size. Only issue is that it is kind of warm, especially in the summer.

Yay! I'm proud of you Una O.

It doesn't matter how long it takes as long as it gets done.

Thanks for all the replies guys! Yes he does go away for a month. I think I'll decide closer as we still have 3 weeks to go before he leaves anyway.

Well they just got home. The new place is faxing the old place for information. I am stressing now that old place is going to try to screw them over because they broke their lease over the bed bug situation. This so sucks for them....

I wish I'd gotten the chance to talk to L about this other stuff but we ran out of time. Sigh. They should find out something by tonight anyway.
