That one is Amelia. The grey avatar I used before was my other kitty Esther. My dog's name is Emma, and I couldn't think of another E name I liked when I got Amelia besides Evangeline and my Mom said that was way too long for a kitties name. Lol.

Hi couch. I went to go view my photos from my breastfeeding milk bath session today...spent way too much money on getting some of them. But I thought they turned out nicely and a few regular shots of my daughter were too adorable to pass up. I feel guilty for spending so much, but with getting my tickets refunded for the show I was going to see kind of evens it out.
I have 1 last assignment for my class that's due by Thursday at 1:00 am. I'm going to try to finish it today.
I see T tonight again. I want to talk about some important things tonight. Hoping I can force myself to bring it up and not avoid it.

It's very jarring returning to work after an especially intense session where you relived
Possible trigger:
My therapist asked if he could put his hand on my arm during that last bit. I kind of figured he didn't do touch. It was over my hoodie and it felt really nice.

Post session comfort food: Nacho Fries from Taco Bell

This morning we are having a record low temp of 8 degC in my little piece of tropical paradise where we are lucky if it gets below 16 degC a couple of days a year. Here is my dog and he won't budge.

That's a lot for one session. I guess you were ready.

Okay, thats 46 as compared to 60 F. Yeah 46 is a bit chill! Thats like the cusp between cold and chill. And 60 is the cusp between chill and cool.

I got the sales tax entered at work today. I had to kick everyone else out of the program so I could enter this. I feel good that I got this done. It's a little thing but it's a good thing that I got it done. I'm still having SH thoughts. God hasn't been talking to me much this afternoon but He was talking to me this morning. I hope it's not hallucinations. IDK. I have to teach tonight. I don't wanna. I want to hole up in bed under the covers and just sleep or half sleep but I have the month of August off and that's coming up so I guess I shouldn't complain. Just gotta get through a couple of more weeks. It was a long day today. HUGS Kit

We've talked about all of it to some extent before this. This was just a very follow the thread and see where it goes kind of session and it lead to all of this. Plus some other stuff that I didn't mention here. It was very intense.

I walked out of my session today with t and it was probably one of the first times I have ever thought to myself that was a waste of time. Not because of anything t or I did.. it just feels like therapy has been stalled since t and I had our rupture this spring. We’ve talked about it.. so that’s not the issues, I just can’t get past it and I think it is messing with the connection and therapeutic relationship we once had.

So, currently I have an email drafted telling t I am taking a break from therapy for a little over a month. And will contact him when I know for sure when I want to come back. I am a bit hesitant to send it because I have been seeing t weekly for a while now and to go from weekly to no appointments for over a month might be more than I can handle. But I think it is needed. So, I think I am going to send it..

Info was dressed quite staidly for her today in her houndstooth check big ruffled blouse. But also flipflops with big black plastic bows and the biggest hoop earrings I have ever seen.

How do you get someone on What Not to Wear? Asking for a friend.

ETA: also she is really into this ending sessions with quotes thing, but I could have sworn her quote this week was the same as last time. “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.”—Helen Keller

I think next time I’ll trot out Thomas Hobbes’ bit about life being solitary, nasty, brutish, and short.

I think you have to let Info be Info.
(disclaimer - I am not known for sartorial splendor either - but I don't mind and want to dress the way I do - at this point I am old enough for students to just put it down as me being eccentric and other)

Yesterday at my friend's Mom's office, where we were working on getting things ready for the Christmas in July event, we lost a little picture hanger thingy. I just took off my shoes and something shiny caught my eye - the picture hanger thingy we'd lost was stuck in the bottom! haha! i just texted my friend and said guess what I just found stuck in my shoe? too funny.
