I did a geology subject beginning of last year it was really interesting. I got a big box of rocks in the mail to do experiments on. Maybe I should re-apply I kind of miss studying.

I have never gotten a facial. You make it sound refreshing. I don't even know where one would go to get one.

My exMIL wanted to take me to get a facial and new clothes and haircut every time I was depressed. 1. It doesn't help at all 2. I had zero motivation. Just because it helped her.

I'm kind of excited about taking it in the fall, when i took it 30+ years ago in my first college-go-around, that was the semester I didn't go to class very often because of the hate letter from my mother situation so I barely squeaked by with a D. Which is why I'm retaking it. I don't remember much from it although I did manage to go on the field trip where we went hiking and looked at rocks in their natural state haha. this upcoming class has field trips too. Yay!

I have never found a facial to help with depression. It just helps when my skin feels icky. Likewise a haircut doesn’t do anything for depression for me.

New clothes might, but as general shopping therapy, not as new clothes.

Googling places that do facials here. Found a couple not too far from me with good ratings. It's not even as expensive as I feared. I may have to try this because I feel like a new experience, especially a self-care kind of one, would be just the ticket right now.

I just packed all the smaller paintings to take there are 11 of them ranging from a Rockpool scene to a bunny in a field. I wonder what he will say this is always interesting. I once bought a lump of clay to my exT and he looked at it he held it up he viewed from all angles before saying it was very artistic and then asking what it was.

Just checked my grades again. She graded my poetic statement a 5/10. Well, I admit I didn't do my best work on it with all the stupid anxiety over the past several days. It was a bare-bones minimum effort at best, an "I don't care about this anyway because I already have a B in the class without it" kind of thing. Not my typical attitude with my love of pointy letter grades and all, but.... it doesn't matter anyway because 5 was enough to bump me up to the pointy letter I am so fond of in this current college go-around!

Besides, I figure she can't go around giving out 100% A's to everybody. That wouldn't look right, would it? 94% is fine with me.

Onward to Geology! (Well, in a month.)

One of the many, many things I have learned on the couch: that "treacle" isn't just a word, it's also an actual thing.

Sup EMDR T had a cancellation and got me in a regular spot. I got to meet her. I didn't feel a very strong connection but as far as EMDR goes she seems like she knows what she is doing. She has had emetophobic clients before. So I guess we will see.

Nah. I work at home so I don't really care. I was like really?! He fixed it correctly then. I guess that's why they don't give us the access needed to change it ourselves, because you know there would be people who would change it just so they could clock out early. Haha.

What I've learned from Microeconomics (halfway through this course) is that I definitely prefer Macroeconomics, big-picture type economic stuff.

I was just gonna ask you to swing up here on your next trip to the midwest to clean mine - and visit, of course! I would get that new boxed wine and Cheezits combo!

Eta - @@ - good! So you wont crab at me for how much the box wine and cheezits cost!

Yeah, but I can bore you by explaining why the market for cheezits is very elastic, maybe even perfectly elastic, but the market for box wine isn't.

So often when I come to the couch you people make me want to go back to college, but I'm remembering that this year would likely not be the best time to do it. I don't even know what I want my masters in.

I'll just stick to the wine and crackers.
