Oh totally Haircuttery. Was next to where we had dinner so was an impulse cut (that was desperately needed). I think I need to work in therapy to be able to handle a regular salon again (had bad panic attacks at multiple haircut appointments).

Got my haircut too, but yesterday. I get an A-line. I hate hair on my neck, but my H likes me to wear it down. Good compromise. I got like 2 inches cut off. Feels so nice now especially in the heat.

Also went to the pool today. That was a nice treat. Got to spend time with my mom and a family friend.

Things are starting to look up for me again. I'm not actively SUI. Still have thoughts, but not urges or intentions. That's a relief. Just looking forward to seeing my nieces. Looks like it will be around on the 8th.

Haha. I just scooped it up. H joked that I drowned it myself, so I told him I was just practicing for him.

Scarlet, my husband hates when my hair is up Or when it’s short. I also hate hair on my neck...so I compromise with him by just cutting it short even though he doesn’t like it.

I hate hair on my neck as well, so I get an undercut with a bob. The only downside is I have to get it shaved more often because it grows out so fast.

So... did you really mean to imply sitting on the couch in your undergotchies watching youtube was a bad thing?

Omg! My H just let me buy the cutest pair of shoes I've ever seen and will probably rarely wear them (they're heels).

Went for a drive today. Saw a whale. It was totally random that I pulled off at this lookout spot. Saw him and/or his friends several times while I was there. You could actually hear him blowing out his blowhole, even though I was fairly high on a cliff. This made me as happy as a depressed person can get. Here's a really terrible photo.

Sometimes at the gym after weight lifting I go on the treadmill and I watch an episode of Twilight Zone or In Treatment.

Today was In Treatment season 2, episode 2 (introduces April). At one point she described her former therapist as someone who just woke up one morning, thought "I seem to be a good listener and I don't know what else to do, so I think I'll be a therapist" (paraphrasing).

I've had at least three therapists who seemed to reach their career decisions like that.

Whew, I'm exhausted and ready for bed. Finished school shopping today, one is going to college Monday and one to middle school Tuesday. I think we wiped out the store! Then my oldest and I prepared a feast and after the food coma passed, the little and I got home at midnight.

On the hair, ugh. I decided to grow my pixie out to a jaw-length A-line in January. I've got a few more centimeters to go. Every time I get a trim I want to tell her to cut it all off, but that wastes the 8 months I've been walking around with bad hair. I really like it better short. I especially hate hair in my face.

Hugs if you want them, head-nods for the non-huggers.

Oh god yes. I have met so many therapists like this. I'm not sure I'm going to last in the therapy world. I have too much integrity.

I think That’s the only reason Paul became a therapist.

My Favorites: Season 1- Alex
Season 2: Mia (Though she was had many issues. I liked her) And April
Season 3: Sunil (he knew what he needed) and Adele. I think she had great boundaries with Paul unlike Gina.
Thanks for this!

Season 1: Alex and Sophie
Season 2: April
Season 3: For some reason, I never watched this--is it worth catching up on?

I think it’s worth it. It’s shorter than season 1 and 2. It won’t take as long. I forgot about Sophie from season 1. I liked her too.

Thanks. I love working with clients, but therapists are so exhausting, and the profession, at least in this country, is elitist and divided. And actually quite vicious. Not sure whether I could better serve clients in some kind of client advocacy role.
