That is like 3 times this year.

In the UK Boxing day is for the shoppers. One store clothing store (Next) appparently opened at 5.45am or something like that.

I did the usual park with my younger sister and Starbucks again. 2/15 stars to go.

I could, but I don't want to do that until I'm like actively suicidal. Otherwise I'd be messaging them every other day and they would get sick of that. I'm trying deep breathing and distraction techniques at the moment. HUGS Kit

Got bonus cooking lessons in session today. Was talking about my difficulty in cutting sweet potatoes (Christmas Eve dinner), how it's also like that with squash (like butternut, not zucchini). And he was like, "I can't believe I'm telling you this," then proceeded to give me a demonstration on how to best cut squash. Delved into some difficult therapy stuff today, too (sex stuff with H). But think I needed to sort of reconnect with him first, as it had been 6 days (he greeted me with "Hello, stranger!") And I got another, "It was good seeing you today" at the end.

It is a delightful day here - the dogs have had a field day running in and out of the dog door - nothing says dog fun like barking their fool heads off at passer-bys

It snowed here this morning, which has turned into rain, but may snow again this evening. 6 year old nephew had never seen snow before as he lives in a mild climate. He was very happy!

Possible trigger:

Alongside my breaking point becoming a talking point, and becoming aware of my grandmother's advancing age...

It's frigging rough. R said I can email, but what good is that, when there are no words?

Thank you very much for your support. I may email R tomorrow, much as I don't want to intrude on her time.

Couch mini-poll: Manipulative or not? After 2ex I can’t really tell.

Old friend from middle school, not really seen her since college years, but Facebook friends, dm’d me on there a couple days ago asking after me and my family. I didn’t answer as was busy with the holidays and travel. Got another earlier tonight asking if I wanted to chat, adding that she wouldn’t dm again if I didn’t want to, because “I get the feeling it’s a one-way street.”

My take: She hasn't matured much since middle school.

If you haven’t seen this person since college and she’s suddenly sending you a message and then not waiting for a reply before sending another..I wouldn’t really engage. She’s bringing drama where there is none. You don’t need the drama.

So whether it's passive aggressive guilt-tripping or just insecurity and poor social skills, the message was really in poor taste.
