My person had one oncologist (late 60s-early 70s - although it would have been odd on anyone) who wore a variety of odd shoes. One appointment she had what looked like replicas of the wizard of oz ruby slippers, then she would wear sandals with straps up her legs, then biker boots, and so on. It was a game we played - predicting what odd shoes she would be wearing at the appointments.

My heat is not working. When I got home yesterday it was 64 in the flat. Turning the heat on got it up to 66. It’s not bad with extra layers.
Usually I don’t turn it on very often because all my neighbors jack theirs way up and my apartment gets hot. They must be out of town. I’ve made new cat a pillow cave on the sofa with an entrance tunnel and roof created by an afghan so she can have a warm spot. Am I a good minion or what? |

I keep falling in and out of sleep since around noon today. I highly doubt I will be awake to watch the ball drop.
I was going to order pizza but I’m not hungry so I didn’t order it. |

The Fantasticks movie musical is on tv tonight. I never realized one of my all time favorite songs, Try to remember, is from it.
BCM, how are you coping down there? I keep hearing all this horrible news and worrying about you  I dont like when they say stuff like "fire season". Fire isnt a season.
