I sent the email I mentioned this morning, but I'm second-guessing myself.

Almost 24 hours without my kids. I talked to them last night on the phone to say goodnight and my oldest has been texting me here and there today. Seems like they're doing good.
I did one discussion post for my class and will probably knock out the other one plus replies today. And maybe start on my paper that's due Wednesday.
Talked to T1 and he still has yet to connect with my CPS caseworker. He said he was going to call as soon as we got done. And that he'll keep me on the schedule for next week. I'm guessing it'll be a while before I start the in home depending on if they have availability and the caseworker says okay.

L texted me a little bit ago to let me know she's better and checking in to see how I'm doing. That was nice and much appreciated. We 'chatted' briefly and wished each other sweet dreams.

I'm all stupidly cheerful now haha

Shocker, Info actually managed a supportive email. It even includes one of those cliches she says she refuses to use because “everybody says that.”

How was the session with L?

How much savings do you have left? I think you said enough for 6 months previously.

Would you get temporary shelter accommodation just on your own if you left H and your dad to it?

She's never been anything less than gracious, and we actually started the conversation about this particular thing a couple of weeks ago, when she admitted that she is also struggling with it.

I'm just scared.

Yeah, I think both are bigger. When I adopted them, the guy said he thought they were done growing in length (might get fatter!), but they seem longer to me. They're almost 10 months old now (checked the paperwork--birthday is in July).

Thank you, it was. She teased me a little about that before I even admitted it, which I found helpful, in a weird sorta way. I guess it just feels good being known so well.

How much does a guinea pig weigh?

Maybe you have a future record breaker?

Cute video! I haven't weighed mine yet, but generally 2 pounds or less. One of my previous pigs was quite large! Though he was a boy, and they tend to be bigger than girls. Fun fact--like regular pigs, girls are called sows and boys are boars.

SD alert: I'm watching on YouTube a concert: The Leading Ladies from 1998 and Julie Andrews just strode onto the stage in full tuxedo and cigar (must be from the Victor/Victoria days). Be still your heart!
