I'm going to have to make myself one of these, I can't stop looking at the pattern. I think I'd use different blue colored yarns though. It looks kinda gray in the pic. Isn't it pretty though? I'm thinking it would be a good pattern to start in the fall making the individual motifs then by the time it gets cold I'll be sewing them together and snuggling under it as I go. Cheering myself up with yarn.

I’m on one of those awkward schedules where I’m on nights and have tonight and tomorrow night off but still have to work Friday/Saturday night shifts. So I’m stuck staying up all night tonight and tomorrow night. I’ll try to finally get to my couch Paint Night project! I was planning to do it last weekend but hen bailed when I got stuck working the nights shift starting on Sunday. Boo residency.

I've been spending 1.5 to 2 hours lying in bed before i actually get to sleep the past few months. Tonight I'm going to start staying up until midnight instead of doing that because it's just getting on my nerves. Can't stand it any more. Nothing's on TV though and I don't have Netflix, and I don't want to play my video games this late at night. Maybe I'll try reading something. Ugh.

LT, the BCC thing was just plain wrong.

My T and I have a thing where I email her on Sunday night about how I did on my goals for the week and she usually emails me back on Monday or Tuesday. Except she hasn't emailed me back the past two weeks. Maybe three. I hate to make a deal about it. I am disappointed not hearing from her but it's not like I'm on crisis or anything; it's clearly a want rather than a need. So I don't know whether I want to bring it up with her or not. Still debating.

I am watching some parks and recreation marathon. I totally identified with Ben when in the horse episode he keeps not getting why everyone was so excited by the miniature horse.

Its perfectlysafe to ease restriction and send kids back to school 4 weeks later 2 schools and a kindergarten are closed down. A town is shut down due to a cluster in an abattior. Our govt is so stupid.

A weird thing: this morning I had a session at 8am right after I got off a long and difficult night shift. T took one look at me over Zoom and said, "do you want to go to bed?" I know he was poking fun at how tired I looked but I couldn't help but hear the potential double meaning in that question and be weirded out. I know he didn't consciously intend any sexual innuendo but it still rattled me.

I had my half of our CPS team meeting this afternoon and it went really quickly. It just involved providing updates on the kids and what the in home team is working on with my son. T1 did not attend which was really hard because I felt I didn't have anyone to help advocate for me. Our caseworker asked to stop the recording of the meeting to discuss the DV and said that they have concerns about H and I being under the same roof together and his supervisor said they have concerns with us being together as a couple. That they can't make us do anything but if something happens again, they will discuss getting the court involved. My next meeting is at the end of August. H said he spoke to our caseworker and was told that as long as there's no further incidents before the next meeting, then they'll close the case. I'm very overwhelmed tonight after all that and feel like it's such an overload of information to deal with.

I like the sound of adhesive.

My dentist has "dental spa" written outside on his building.

Sorry If I missed it, but did you agree to letting H come back to the home or did he just continue with his own overstaying ?

Things get done when they get done.

Don't think i've tried mint chocolate biscuits.

I went out yesterday just to buy chocolate and cheese!

A dental spa sounds awful. I have a Zoom session in an hour and a half - anybody around to pocket ride?

Yeah, T knows about the stuff my dad has said/done. I know T didn’t mean anything by what he said, but it still struck me the wrong way.

It's okay to have a reaction to his words even if they have been innocent.

I hope you can bring this up with him.

Also congrats on the fellowship interview. I'm glad it went so well. I'll still have my fingers crossed for you. When do you hear back from them?

I wanted a bit of action today but didnt want it in the form of one of my Ds rats squeezing itself under the door and the 2 dogs and 2 cats chasing it around the house til she slipped behind the bookcase and i had to wrangle the other animals outside. I cant take that kind of excitement. Rattie is safe back in her cage after being coaxed ,that doesnt look right, out with rolled oats.phew!
