A while ago, like maybe a year or so ago, I had a dream. And in the dream a member of our Church who was having trouble getting pregnant had a baby girl. But this didn't happen until after another friend of mine had surgery on her left knee and I was in the hospital. And none of that had happened yet. And sure enough the other friend had surgery on her left knee, I was hospitalized IP, and the Church Member is having a baby girl. Wow. Amazing.

Just woke up. Not sure what to do with myself all night (though I do have a date to watch Firefly with a friend at 7p). I have a session at 7a so I'll probably stay awake through then.

Mom said we are having tacos tonight. Taco Thursday does not have the same ring to it as Taco Tuesday. But I like tacos so TACO THURSDAY!

Do you have these dreams often? I used to have them when i was younger but they were usually about accidents in the city i lived in like construction cranes falling over my ex used whinge about me not dreaming about winning the lottery.

No, that's what is weird about it. I don't put a lot of stock into dreams, I don't even usually remember them. I remember telling this Church member about the dream but being reluctant to because like I said, I don't put a lot of stock into dreams, and yet everything I dreamed about in that dream came true. It's spooked me honestly. Like God talked to me through the dream. Maybe I shouldn't used spooked and God in the same paragraph.....

Paint nite at Artie's eta this was kinda fun, I like the sky a lot. Kinda want to cut off the bottom part. I dipped a cotton ball in black, blue, and purple alternately and just smooshed it randomly. Then I used LT's idea (I think it was LT?) spattering white to look like stars. I accidentally made a shooting star.

Nice paintings Artie!
Also love the walls SheHulk.

I did a painting last week that I didn’t post here. T saw it on Tuesday and said he really liked it.

I want to try one of these paintings, but I know it would turn out really crappy and I would just be bummed out by it.

i thought that too for a long time so never tried until i found those little canvases at the dollar store and figured what the heck. i'm amazed at how much painting gets me out of my head and relaxes me. I really am feeling better and I think I'll be able to sleep pretty well tonight. I like playing with blending colors and experimenting with stuff like cotton balls in that nighttime one. you might just surprise yourself!

H and I went for a walk around the block a little bit ago, got back home just before curfew. It sounds so weird saying curfew.

Omg guys hahahahha my painting is soooooo baaaaaad

Couch 215: The Overcoming Couch

I chose a video that said it was for beginners but I guess it didn't take into account that I haven't tried to paint anything in over a decade. It's supposed to be flowers in a vase, but actually it is just a bunch of blobs. Maybe next time I'll chose one that isn't actually supposed to look like anything??

That said, I'm totally doing this again--so much fun!

I think that is way cool!! I would totally frame that and hang it in my house, yellow is my favorite color. Is that metallic paint? It's so sparkly looking.
Thanks for this!

Haha yeah somehow the paint I ordered from Michael's turned out to be metallic acrylic, though it wasn't advertised that way *shrug*

My mother has always been a very talented artist, which is why I have never seriously tried to draw, paint, or anything else arty. I’d just be measuring myself against her.

My sibling was the arty one in the house. I never got the attraction. I am trying drawing in order to see if I can exercise another part of my brain by learning the skill.
