my dad has had a chronic cough for years that has never caused any major trouble, but laying down flat for so long unable to cough because of the pain. So now he has pneumonia. They say they might take out the breathing tube today.

went to answer this and saw mckell online...
 for chatting with me, you and pink both.dad is out of ICU now  i didn't get to talk to him because they moved him to a private room and no one in the family even called me. They couldn;t have their phones on in the hospital so i couldn't track anyone down. but he is feeling a lot better. He has pneumonia but the pain has improved a lot. Once he can move around and stuff i will feel better. Too many worries about circulation, pneumonia, etc.. i am so happy he is improving |

he slept all day today... which is scary. i mean, i hope its good healing sleep but its scary waiting to find out how he feels, if he's really getting better.
everything is going to change now... my god.. they both might really die someday.. i know it but it's always been something i could pretend was never going to happen. |
