Stupid COVID.
Is there an option for them to send you photos? Our derm doc always told us to do that and he'd add it to the patients files on the system too.

I am not usually very adaptable, but I mostly feel okay about how things have changed. But then I am a homebody, so I am not missing out on most of my core favorite things. Maybe eating in local restaurants, but delivery is almost as good and doesn't require pants. And I may never shop for my own groceries again. I guess the pandemic is mostly enabling my hermit lifestyle.

Not whining. Maybe you could sit in the car If H doesn't fall asleep or try the bottom of the garden?

Yes, theoretically, but if the pt is 70 and not very tech-savvy it's just not gonna happen.

I go out for groceries but this hasn't changed my life all that much either. I still see friends - we just stand or sit further apart (I always stood 5 or 6 feet from others anyway). I walk the dogs daily with my friend like we always have, I ride my bike, etc. Teaching is more of an annoyance to do on zoom, but not impossible or horrible -just not ideal. I went to a restaurant a few days ago and it was very spaced out and the workers all wore masks. It was fairly sterile as far as I could see. I am sorry we don't have our in person opera season this year (got the refund for the tickets recently) but it is not the end of the world for me. I never went to bars and the people around here just haul coolers to the park and sit and drink outside

My dad is in his 80s and he manages to do telehealth - it doesn't matter how old you are -some people (not all are past 60 - I have students who can't figure stuff out) might need some direction to help but I think people can do it.

Hard to tell why she didn't throw away her uniform, could be that she thinks there's a chance to go back but it also could be that she just likes the cloths and wants to keep them for now.
I just really want her to finish school she only has fourteen weeks left and she has done really great. I am getting her meds reviewed next week.

I dont understand the point of telehealth either there are so many thjngs that need looked at and felt its bit pointless except maybe triaging patients to see face to face

Which is the important part, right?

I feel okay too. There have been bad moments. But I also feel like I've picked up some good new habits and been forced to really think about my life and where it's going and what do I want to change about it and how do I want to change it.

I got some alcoholic freezer pops from costco. The lime ones are pretty good. The other flavors are okay but the lime ones are thumbs up.

Trauma T went okay I suppose. We are at the beginning of treatment still in the getting to know you, doing treatment plans, talking about care coordination. Guess he finally talked to T1 yesterday and wants to talk to my CPS caseworker. He said it seems like him and T1 are working on the same thing and asked if I felt that CPS was telling me what to do. Which is true and I told him but also I like the option of seeing a T more than once a week which is why I agreed to do it. I don't want to take the chance of losing custody of my kids because I didn't take their recommendation...even if they say it's only a recommendation I don't trust it. He said that T1 mentioned to him about a higher level of care for me, which I guess is technically what trauma T is. We scheduled a time to meet tomorrow again and I have T1 on Friday, so I think I'll discuss it more with him then. This whole thing makes me miss exT and the ability to see him multiple times a week and call if I needed to. I don't think there's ever a chance I'd be able to go back to him but I definitely miss the feeling of support.

I just saw they have made a new Ghostbusters from the original producers son and a new Bill and Ted movie. Can i tell you my friends Keanu Reeves story. Itbwas while they were filming the Matrix and my friend finished work and went to a restaurant as she sat down she noticed Keanu in the carner with 2 others. As she was reading her book and waiting for the entree someone came to her table and said Mr Reeves noticed tou were sitting alone and wondered if you would like some comppany and sit at his table. And she politely declined. I was stunned. If some famous invited you to their table wouldt you at least think about it?

Absolutely. I would jump at the chance, depending on the famous person in question.

I know its mad right. She said she really didnt want company so i suppose thats fair enough and its not like she isnt a fan. She also said she didnt know what she would say to him but i bet that wouldnt have been a problem. A once in a lifetime opportunity.

heck, i'm nervous right now about my session in 40 minutes or so and it's just L. I wish h had somewhere to go so i could have some privacy. I think I will use my work headset so he can't hear her. he'll still be able to hear me because he's in the next room on his computer and has the sound off. Which he NEVER does. Nosey McNoseypants. I'm sure he thinks I'm going to talk about him today because the other day we were having a 'discussion' and I asked him again if he would consider going to couples therapy and he again poopoo'd the idea. But I have other things to talk about with her today besides his stupid *****.

Maybe I'll go ahead and try it on my phone out in the garage. If it doesn't work I can just call her and do a phone session and still have my privacy. I was hoping he would fall asleep watching a movie but that doesn't appear to be in the cards.
