I agree. Maybe see if there’s a different class with an opening if you still want to take something?

This will be my 9th day in bed. I don't know how to make myself get up. I had to go to the doctor for tonsillitis and then to get the paper prescription a couple days later, or it would be even longer. I don't know how much longer. The therapist keeps saying if we were having normal in person sessions, I would have to get up, therefore that means I must just need to decide to get up. That logic seems off to me. I mean, if I think COVID never happened, the world hadn't come to a screeching halt, I wouldn't be in this state anyway so it's a moot point. I'm not sure if I had an in-person session next week I'd be able to make myself get up.

Haven't bathed in 9 days, either. I know that's disgusting.

I haven't had a face to face conversation with anyone I actually know in so long. The mother came to pick up the big dog maybe first week of April. Took like 10 min. Then I saw a PA I didn't know for the tonsillitis on 6/2. So that's the extent of my in person socialization. Oh, and one time I waved to my only neighbor.

This blows.

I've just watched 'Goodbye Christopher Robin', the AA Milne biopic.

It was the best film I have seen in a while.

Yep yep, I told myself Artie make a decision and stick to it for once. And I already did, I dropped it about 25 minutes ago. Ain't got time for that foolishness! Bring on a summer of free evenings/weekends so I can do more online stuff with my drumming peeps. I didn't find anything else for the summer so now I'm focusing on what I'll be taking in the Fall. I think it's going to be Abnormal Psych. So I can learn about everything that's wrong with me. It's set up to be a virtual class right now, one evening a week, I figure that's fine just in case they go back to in person by October when it starts... I'd still be able to go to the campus since it's an evening class. Not that I see that happening as covid cases here have been rising again since they started opening everything up.

Speaking from experience, you will feel better if you take a bath or shower and wash your hair. It will feel like too much effort, but it's also over pretty quickly and you can go back to bed when it's done.

susannah, if you can't care for yourself at the moment, maybe you can care for your bed. Change the pillowcases or the bottom sheet if changing all the bedding is too much effort. My therapist keeps on at me about opening the windows to let in fresh air, so to parrot her (god forbid, I never thought I would see the day): are you opening your windows?

I need to make slight changes for everything to make sense, but I don’t feel the need to rewrite assignments that I got a 100 on.
What I would mean if I said that was you should be drawing on everything done in the course so far—textbook, notes, previous assignments, lectures, or discussions. Don’t go outside the course, you don’t need to be original.

Of course I would say it more clearly. But I wouldn’t mean resubmit previous work.

I accidentally splashed boiling water on myself earlier. I jumped back in time to avoid most of it, but I have a nickel-sized burn on my stomach that is still stinging. I think it’s second degree going by pics online.

I guess H is back in the house because he hasn't left to go back to his mom's. He asked if he could come back home and I told him he could stay out until end of Auguust. Yet I also haven't put my foot back down and was stern about it.

Talked to T1 about this and told him how I feel like a disappointment because I'm getting my son's therapist and CPS caught up in the middle of it. He asked if I thought that they want me to make a decision and stick to it and I said yes, that's how I feel when I'm listening to my son's T tell me how she feels caught in between and it's an awkward place to be, etc etc. All T1 asked me was if there was anything I needed to make a decision on way or another, and I told him it's the fear of retaliation and that I can't do this on my own with 4 kids.

Possible trigger:

It's too hot and humid here to open the windows at this time of year.

Maybe I will try to make the bed or something.

We took diabetic cat back to the vet today for a recheck on his blood sugar, it has come down over 200 pts from last week when it was in the 500's so that is good, she's keeping him on the higher dose of insulin. Also, this was the first time since January that he did not lose weight so that is good as well! He goes back in a month and they are going to do a fructosamine test at that point. She said that will be an indication of what his blood sugar is doing over time instead of just an in the moment sample that could be affected by him freaking out about the car ride over there.

susannah, you should go get some more popsicles. Reward yourself for taking care of yourself with more popsicles after you make your bed, take a shower, something. I rewarded myself for going and running errands and finishing my last assignment this afternoon with some jelly beans.

Susannah daisy is right reward yourself with popsicles. I reward myself for stupid little things like washing up the 3 dirty bowls so i can can have a clean one for breakfast as if a clean bowl wasnt reward enough
Some good but sad news my D is making a time to see a lady about a houseshare and if she moves in she can take her dog back. Which is great as she has missed him these past 6 months and it will be better for him as i am not able to take him for walks and run around with him but it will be awfully quiet and still around here without him.

The store will be closed by the time I take a shower. Oh well. My own fault for lying around all day.

Maybe you could adopt a small older dog or a dog with mobility impairments, Daffy, if you want canine companionship but can't do a lot of exercise.

I do know you're BCM, but seems weird to still call you that, so...

So right before he left to drive this evening, H told me about me having a night terror last night. I don't remember it, but if he was able to hear me from the living room with his headphones on, it was probably bad. Now I'm freaking out that I'll have another one tonight.

Fact: in the 16 months since T terminated me i have had no speeding fines and no car accidents. In the 9.75 years i saw him i always had at least 2 speeding fines and some kind of accident with my car. Every year. I dont think this is a coincidence.

I took the shower. Now I have to take a Spanish exam. If only Walmart was still open 24 hours these days and I could go get some popsicles afterward.

I think my intense anxiety has gradually translated over the past two weeks into a popsicle-focused diet.

“Cheese” is American slang for the kind of gaseous emissions ex-hankster is famous for.
