That sucks since you weren't there to be part of the discussion. Hopefully they didn't spend too much time on it and redirected him to his own stuff.

That doesn't sound good -but a/c gives me nosebleeds because the air is dry. So it could be something innocuous

So my daughter cant be the only child with anxiety over covid right? The school guidance counsellor seemed to dismiss this. My daughter freaked out about the measles outbreak a couple of years ago and it took days of ecplainiing about vaccinations to clam her down. I think this situation is a valid one to have anxiety over and now the federal govt is going to pressure the 3 states who have closed there borders to open them up. We already had a worker from another state bring it to ours. I am probably not helping with my own thouhhts about things i dont say anything but i suppose it still comes thtough. You are supposed to tell your child that as long as they keep social distancing and wash hands it will be fine. They have stopped wiping down the trolleys at the supermarkets here which i think is wrong.

I got a new job offer today - something radically different (and much, much safer) than previous job.

It's great I got something right away. One less worry.

Our govt is stupid. They Havent ramped up the testing and i read yesterday that therewere 5 medical advisors on this covid thing 3 recommended tight restrictions and 2 recommended lets sees what happens not surprisingly the govt chose lets see what happens. Its infuriating. I see a much worse situation down the track.

Aw, my friend is so sweet. She asked me if I wanted to take her room and she stay in the living room instead. She said I might feel safer if I had a room door to close.

I told her I really feel safer in the living room than in my old room with my family even though I had a door I could close and lock there. True, the cats sometimes wake me up, but I've had chronic nightmares for years on end, and I don't mind the cats. They actually remind me that I'm here in my friend's flat and not back with my family unable to leave!

Reading this week's chapters, here comes poor Little Albert again....

oh and LT, I know you did not edit this particular online textbook because there are quite a few errors!! Blatant ones like using the word "associate" where it should have been "associated".

the errors are not just in the textbook.... this prof told us to contact her only via email but did not provide her email address and i can't find it on the college website, and there is a broken link to a resource we're supposed to view. And there's no 'general questions' discussion place like there usually is, I guess I will have to post my questions in the introductions discussion place, this is rather annoying. I have 3 days to drop the course and get my money back, I may have to do so. It's not required, all I have left is the stupid math class and the last Psych class that's never available when I can take it. Artie is annoyed today.

eta Oh my goodness, this "textbook" has no business being called such. It reads like a poorly-done Wikipedia page. So disappointed.

Question for the professors in here. My professor sent out an email last week saying that the final project is a culmination of our work in the course; “no need to reinvent the wheel.” Is he giving us permission to take our work from previous assignments and put it together into the final project? I need to make slight changes for everything to make sense, but I don’t feel the need to rewrite assignments that I got a 100 on.

If it’s that bad and you don’t need it, then I might drop it. Electives are supposed to be fun or interesting, not a slog.
