And He kept on sying i am not going to pet you little puppy until he couldnt resist and made a kind of squeal and and petted my dog and gushed all over him and we got to meet the cat who was more battle scarred than his owner

Yes I have that guilt. Last year right before I had to have that appendectomy I wouldn't even call in sick the day I went to the ER, I worked that morning until I felt so bad I could literally no longer sit upright and only then did I leave early. I did not call in sick again for over a year, but I did leave early one day last month because I had such a bad headache. I told myself Self, take care of you. Go back to bed. I actually listened. But I usually let guilt keep me at my desk...

Well im gonna go cut my hair. I cant stand how i look lately. Then take a shower.

Even Gov Gretchen has been wearing her hair less poofy. It looked good on her at the press conference today. Like she finally got out of the 1950's. I swear Bewitched's evil twin was her role model, what was her name?

Hugs. I still get nightmares I'm trapped back with my family but my weighted blanket is calming even though it gives me vivid dreams. Also enjoying the 3 cats my friend has!

Truly magical for me to realise one of them was purring as I stroked her two nights ago. Never heard a cat purr before.

Hugs, 2ex is...wow a piece of work. There's so many little things I enjoy. It's still so incredibly awesome.

Probably why I got so annoyed with T for saying I'm not living life lol!

I found a caring and attentive GP near my new place. Was googling clinics in the area and his clinic has many good reviews both old and recent. Good and bad reviews alike were responded to promptly and politely personally by the doctor.

Any negative feedback was replied to with apologies and what he did to fix it (eg reprimanding rude staff).

I went in since I've had diahorrea for three weeks following two weeks of constipation. He's the 3rd doctor to suggest I have IBS, specifically mixed type. My diet hasn't changed from when I was still living with my abusive family. If anything, I'm eating more fruit. Researching about what foods might help or worsen IBS is pretty overwhelming.Sigh.

All of a sudden, for the first time in my life, I seem to react badly to dairy (cow's milk). I bought myself some chia seeds since i read they may help but I really hope I don't have IBS

I'm dismayed at health issues coming up when I've finally left the abusive situation. I had chronic muscle tension and body aches all over for a month after each time my mother relayed messages through my younger brother...which wasn't fun at all since every little movement hurt. I had to tell my younger brother and get my partner (whom Mum hates and refuses to use even his name) to tell my Mum to stop relaying messages through my younger brother.

I'm young, omg, so why am i getting health problems I've never had before? Also body memories/ body-flashbacks are awful.

Sorry for the rant. I'm at a loss. T does have experience supporting people with chronic conditions like diabetes, chronic pain, chronic fatigue etc but I'm embarrassed to tell her...

Hi, Quietmind, I was sitting over there & I heard what you said about your possible IBS. I was thinking, your doctor is probably familiar with family stress & will want to help you. I'll be crossing my fingers for you.

Thank you. I definitely feel lost and somewhat worried. The doctor did prescribe Immodium (Loperamide) and told me to monitor. It hasn't been helping but I'm going to cut out dairy and caffeine for a while.

QM, in terms of lactose intolerance, I've read that the ability to process lactose decreases as one gets older--I think the amount of the enzyme decreases. I didn't have any issues with dairy until about 10 years ago, when I was in my early 30s. Now I'm OK with most cheeses, but can't use regular milk on my cereal or in coffee (I use soy milk instead). Do you have Lactaid in your area? It's a pill that replaces the enzyme so you can consume dairy, but I think you have to take it right before you eat.

I suspect I may have IBS as well (not formally diagnosed). Something that's helped me is aloe juice. It's doesn't have much of a taste but seems helpful if I remember to have some daily. Also, probiotics can help, but you may have to experiment with which type works best for you. And if you're eating more fruit now, that can definitely affect it--your body might just need time to adjust.

Last night in extremely random dream moments: I was at someone's house, and they had pillows spelling out the defunct electronics store "Circuit City." Only it was misspelled as "Circuat City," and I pointed that out. Not sure what that was all about...

There was another one where Dr. T handed me this gift bag, and there was a bunch of stuff in their for D, including a hair tie that had a shark hanging off it, so it looked like a shark was hanging on your head. I asked Dr. T who the gifts were from, and he said, "We got them for you" (meaning him and his wife).

I dreamed my therapist and I drove to a big museum-like place in his car and walked around. After a while he wouldn't walk next to me anymore.

I don't think I can take this.

I don't feel good. Bailed on a camping trip with J because it was super far away and only his buddies and also I didn't feel good because of this stupid MAOI (I just told him about the I don't feel good part because I'm a wimp). Now I'm just lying in bed watching TV.

I really don't feel good.

Okay, no talking about accumulating spit, and no talking about drinking snot juice aka aloe vera exudences. If i have to add it to the couch rules, i will. A moist rules subset. Pooping or lack thereof or muchness thereof is still completely acceptable. We are animals and i accept that. You dont see animals spitting into tubes and mailing it to each other.

I dreamt about my old t last night too! I had an appt show up on my calendar, after i hadnt had one in a long time. I should have called to confirm, but i didnt. Then i was late, then i was REALLY late, trying to find a parking spot. The parking garage was really crowded and slow because of covid. I think it was my first covid dream.

Yeah, QM, i didnt realize how much my stomach was tied into knots around my family. It took a few years, but after being constipated like MY WHOLE LIFE, im not anymore. And a lot of it is psychological, because if you dont "get up and go", you literally dont get up and go. Or i dont, anyway. I feel bogged down. Im so glad youre "only" 30. I was over 60 before i untied my gut. Thats not right. But thats okay.

I always felt i was born 20 years too early, so i am digging stuff now. I loooove the internet. This is how i always imagined life to be.

Bodily goo is bodily goo. No difference. My carsick dog drools buckets -he turns into a mastiff or st. Bernard (their owners often carry around drool towels)

Yep i love how pretty they are, but again, the dogs themselves dont save their drool in a tube and mail it to other mastiffs. Thats my line in the sand! (Sand because it will absorb the drool.)

The drool is all over the car, the bed, my whole body, the other dog's head, and owners are walking around with a drool soaked rag in their pocket. Is mailing the problem for you?

Breaking dawn - its northern minnesota. They INVENTED social distancing! You can put your bed wherever you want. Oh, unwritten rule - we dont hug stopdog.

SD - Yes. I dont want my vote invalidated by drool. Just kidding. Have you done one of those spit tests? Its cruel and unusual punishment. You sit there spitting into a tube of your old spit, trying to create more spit. And now trying to forget what @@ said accidentally happened to her. Youre just yanking my chain. Usually i like that.

You don't have to mail it. You can take it to the board of election and other places and drop it off. Look online for your county.

Whether it's being in sync with the universe, or that the Lord helps those who help themselves - it is happening!

You know i cut my hair into the cutest bangs last night and took a shower, and i got garbage bagged up and ready to go, and other such tasks lined up, and my diet is doing pretty good -

So i just went out to do a load of laundry, and i meet a new neighbor moving in - hes a cardiologist! No wedding ring! Cute guy! Im like, so can i put you on my speed dial? He laughed. I told him, i really did just seriously start a new diet and exercise today. He goes, yeah i do a lot of that.

Good karma! I like NEVER leave my apartment, and the one time i FINALLY do, such a mitzvah!
