Just got off weekly family zoom call (on my lunch break) that we started doing after the pandemic started. I think we're running out of things to talk about by now.... but it's still good to see everyone esp my brother who's still in Germany, I hardly ever talked to him before we started these meetings. My lunch break was well timed for he and his wife to both be able to join most weeks.

Haha LT, I hope his prediction is accurate and there will be less stress, not more despair. (I remember a panicked phone call with Liz on a certain Wednesday in 2016.) I am knitting a bunch of these for my friends because I am just so over this year (TW for F-bombs, I suppose).

Those are awesome! I did ask what if it turns out for the despair option, asking if I'd get some free sessions. He said we'd all need to come together and provide therapy for each other if that happens.

To earn your crown in heaven?

Dont mind me - that was from deep in my unconcious somewhere! I think that Lawrence of Arabia music did it to me.

I cannot believe the thinking of our council. On the weekend approximately 10000 people will attend the v8 supercars race in our town. These are people from down south of our state, because all our states have closed their borders now, where the worst of the cases are.

I am getting a call tomorrow from an organisation that subsidises therapy but they match you up to people in their network. I don't know if i want to go to therapy anymore, i think all I would do is talk about exT.

If that's what you need to do BCM, then that's what you need to do. It might be an idea to have support at this time, as the world seems to be changing rather quickly.

That movie always scared me when I was younger. Didn't like watching Hades and his minions.I do remember my mother taking my brother and I to Macdonalds and getting the happy meal toy which I wanted swapped.

I restarted watching Attack on Titan, but you might like you've got mail.

Day 1 of school was just an intro. Dividing us into subgroups and our timetables. They were actually letting us pick our groups based on alphabetical order. There were 15 of us. Creepy guy's name came first but he picked my first other friend Y, then then someone else instead of me.

Y apologized to me. Saying they thought they'd be allowed a group of 4 and I would be picked last.

But it just means that I won't likely be seeing either of them much during the week Unless we make plans to to study together. Each of us is starting in a different department. It's just something that is I guess.

Day 1 of gym again.

It just reminded me of being picked for teams in physical Ed. ( I was super chubby until the last two years so often was just picked near last). Y also messaged saying she'd hope we would still meet up for walks/study/bike rides on the weekend but realistically I don't think much of it will actually happen.

My brother also started his first day of 4th year.

How are you doing C?

((I only study in blocks of 30min so I'll check back on my next break.))

I'm a tiny bit better today. No earthly idea why. Have therapy in 90 minutes, not sure what we'll talk about. We've mostly been talking about stuff with J but I'm sick of that. I have no idea what to do about him and I'm tired of thinking about it.

I'm taking my board exams on Friday. The exam costs like $3,000 to take (not to mention the additional $1,000 for prep materials and practice questions) and is 10 hours long. Luckily the pass rate is 90% so I'm not especially worried about failing it (though one of my friends from med school did fail... he's always been bad at tests, though).

What does creepy guy do that is creepy?

Wishing you a good session. You'll know what to do about J when you do. No need to put pressure on yourself now.

Oh wow super good luck. As my brother tells me "you've made it this far, a little bit more to go".

R called him that and told me at the time that he felt protective about me but it stuck with him- basically he used to make pretty tame sexual jokes with me. stuff like if I wouldn't date him maybe we could just sleep together instead. I love him but I'm not in love with him.

Saw T on Saturday. Wasn't terribly helpful. It wasn't unhelpful but since I was no longer in crisis it just felt like, what is the point? I think I was boring her too. I know I'm not there to entertain her but she looked like she was kind of checked out which made me just babble on longer. Ugh.

I have have 5 exams this year. Internal, gynecology, surgery, social ( a waffle subject), and pediatrics .

We started with Internal and it's made up of everything and 10 weeks in total. First two weeks will be cardiology which I've never really liked. I do feel scared because I've heard that they're a demanding department and no one has started really studying yet. I've done 6/168 topics in total for the first time and today was just recapping my anki cards from before and basic anatomy of the heart.
