I talked to my T about forgiving the ER doctor and about being angry with him. She did that thing where she moves her fingers back and forth really fast and I have to follow with my eyes. I'm still not sure what is supposed to happen so I just make things up. But now that the anniversary of the hospitalization passed, I don't feel angry. I think I was being triggered by the anniversary. I don't think it was very helpful to talk about it in therapy. She just kept saying stuff like it is okay to be angry. I have the right to be angry. You don't like to feel your anger but if you never feel it you won't get through it. Stuff like that. Now that the anniversary has passed, I just feel exhausted. I took yesterday off of work (yesterday was the anniversary) and I watched some British mysteries (Vera) and laid around. Ended up feeling bad. Felt like my friends didn't give a care about me. Guess I needed more support yesterday than I knew. I still feel crappy.

Well it snowed pretty good there for awhile this morning after I started work, and then at 10am-ish we lost power for over an hour. Luckily I was able to just use that hour as my lunch break, and then I have to just make up the other 15 or so minutes after my normal shift end time. I told my supervisor i did not want to try driving into the office - I am way out of practice driving in snow and the locals are TERRIBLE at driving in it since we rarely see this much here! besides i don't want to go into the office right now anyway cuz of covid. So I just went outside and took pictures of the snow and made a little snowman haha and then kicked back and read a book on the kindle app on my phone til i could get back on and work. we got probably a half inch, which nobody would even take a 2nd look at where I grew up, but here it's something. it's all long gone now of course. well except for my snowman which is hunched over sideways and mostly melted away too. haha

Artie, we got 4 inches in two days which even made the Los Angeles news! That's a big deal for us. Plus there's another storm coming in Wednesday through Friday so another opportunity for snow. I'm wearing my duck boots! I'm glad I bought them this season because it's about the third time I got to wear them. I plan on wearing them all week!

On this day last year I was sitting in the ER on a gurney waiting to get transported to the mental hospital. I had already been in the ER for one night and would spend another night in the ER. This time last year I just finished talking to the psychiatrist who put me on a 5150 hold. I'm like super sad remembering this.

Also RIP Kobe. It was all we watched at the psych hospital. News with Kobe's death. And strange movies about people being in psych hospitals. I kid you not. Very poor taste in movies I thought.

Oh, this makes me think of what was airing in the waiting room while I was waiting to go back for my scheduled C-section (and had to keep waiting because emergencies had to go before me--I was scheduled for maybe 10 am, finally got the C-section around 4...which included having fasted overnight and avoiding liquid since shortly after I got up):
Possible trigger:

We got about an inch of snow overnight, but it's already melted. There's a chance of snow here on my birthday, Sunday, which would be nice...I mean, like 3-6 inches at most, but still something.

Odd question. Has anyone here been getting a lot of attempted logins by a third party into an online account they have recently?

I’ve gotten alerts for 5 different accounts since about mid-December. Instagram, old Twitter account, PayPal, Etsy, and another one I can’t recall—Microsoft I think. I’ve either closed the account if I don’t use it anymore or beefed up security if I do.

So I am just wondering if there’s a lot more hacking attempts these days or if I should worry. 2ex comes to mind as he has done this before though not for years, and some of the accounts would be ones he knew about.

Those who have snow, keep it! I'm running the air conditioning, it was 72 when I was driving home and it's stuffy in here.

@@, I haven't heard anything about a hack or leak since the big Equifax one. I hope your suspicion proves false, but my stalker ex did the same thing. You have a freeze on your credit, right? And if this mystery person is able to get in, you can dispute the charges if any? I'm sorry!

SlumberKitty I hope you feel better soon!

I love viewing facebook dodo pet rescues and fosters. It just AMAZES me how people have room in their homes and lives to do this. I can barely take care of myself.

Eta - i binge-read an interesting book last night to this morning. IN AN INSTANT by Suzanne Redfearn. Well-written, except for a few gaps, but these days really im quibbling. Kind of a horror story / tragedy / Everest type / and what was that movie Redford directed with Mary Tyler Moore - Ordinary People.

Thanks, SM--yup, credit freeze, don't save credit cards, address/phone number to any accounts.

I'm sure glad we replaced our broken bedroom window finally. It's supposed to be below freezing tonight! With that old broken window we'd have had to sleep on the couches!

I think the dodos are beyond rescue at this point. They are no more. Bereft of life. Ex-birds if you will
