Thanks, Artie. I love my job, but it's hard to feel that I'm the only one who's really invested in what we are doing.

Kit - J sounds like a good fit. I'm glad you're finding her helpful.

My therapist is old. She is going blind and her hearing has deteriorated significantly since I began working with her 5 years ago. She is in her 70s. Physically, she is fit but today she looked thin and frail. She must not get any older and she must not retire. I am angry at her for being human and old.

I can empathize, moo. L is 71 and sometimes when I look at her she just looks... old. It's hard.

I had the best mammogram of my life today. The place wasn’t crowded, the staff was friendly and competent, the room wasn’t freezing cold, it took only the 15 minutes they promised, etc.

The best part was actual lockers to put your stuff in. And the lockers had names: Jane Austen, Amelia Earhart, Elizabeth Taylor, Angelina Jolie, Dolly Parton, Cleopatra, Mae West, Tina Turner, Princess Diana, Lucy Ricardo, Mother Teresa, Betty Ford, etc. It made me laugh.

Tonight's hat, this is #6 since I started making one per day. It's been very relaxing for me crocheting every evening. I really like this one and may keep it for myself

Good morning couch! Just getting ready to log onto work for the day. I popped awake like 8 minutes before my alarm went off, so I got to my desk a little bit sooner than usual. It's my Friday and I'm in a bring-on-the-weekend mood! No plans really other than maybe seeing L tomorrow, laundry, and crochet. H's buddy from CA is still here, they played golf yesterday, and tomorrow they're going to Tombstone and maybe Bisbee. So I'll have a nice quiet house again tomorrow. Well I gotta go get logged onto work and get this day a-moving.

Hugs and headnods all around as appropriate!

Glad it was a good experience. The place I go has lockers, but no names--those are great! So which one did you pick?

I finally settled on Cleopatra, though I was tempted by Mother Teresa, because one does not think of her in a mammary context usually.

Info would totally have gone for Dolly Parton.

The place I go has lockers too, but like yours they aren't named. They aren't letting people use them though because of covid, so you have to carry your stuff with you. I was just sure my bra was going to try to sneak out of my little bundle and attempt to embarrass me but it didn't.

Break time! Plus, I have an online training when I get back from break for 90 minutes about a new system we are changing to. For probably the first time EVER, the new system we are training on is up and running and we are to start using it in place of the old one immediately after training. Usually, we train on something but then can't use the new thing for like 3 months so everyone has forgotten everything by the time they roll out the new thing. Ha.

My lease renewal came today. Honestly i thought they were kicking me out. I could kick that old manager! Anyway, the new amount is completely do-able. *rick my finger. I now have 18 months of peace.

Interesting, the lockers for mammograms. Our place has a little curtained changing area in the room with each machine, so I just leave my things on the chair. There is a basket with little deodorant wipes too, so you can apply after the procedure without having to bring your own.

My Mammogram place has lockers too, but no names which I am kind of jealous about. But the first two times they didn't let me use the lockers. I guess because of Covid, so my stuff just sat on the chair in the mammogram room. The waiting room for the mammogram which I was in this last time is really nice. Nicer than sitting in the waiting room, waiting room. I think I would have picked Mother Teresa or Amelia Earhart. Thanks for sharing @@
