Thanks LT! I had bought it a couple years ago when son's gf was asst manager at one of those halloween stores cuz we were going to a party. No parties this year of course, but it was still fun to dress up for a little bit.

Costume? I have those identical items in my closet! They were considered quite quite fashionable in my day, and still are, in my town!

Sorry, my denture flipped!

I am having a hard time calling the wreckers to take my car away i keep making excuses like my foot is too sore, my D who will be driving me to pick up payment and licence plates, might get called into work, but really i think its about loss of independence but logically its not because i am hampered by the constant anxiety around driving the thing and i have been gradually going out less and taking shorter trips.

Was the hair yours or a wig? The color and length suit you.

I understand the feeling of loss of independence. Good luck!

It's a wig. My hair's much shorter now - chin length. I do like the color though, too. It much more closely matches my dark eyebrows than the blondish-gray it is now.

Hi Couch,

Hope you're doing well. If you've asked your T a couple of questions via email, they haven't replied, and they've also been unwell in between...how would you handle it?

It would be good to have answers to the questions in writing, but I'm not sure whether she'll be able to provide them yet.

I could never get mine that long. It used to be that color too. Now theres snow on the roof and no smoke in the chimney. Boy the round blue glasses really gave me flashbacks

Probably I would wait until session and then ask about it. If I wanted the responses in writing though I would ask for that too. IOP T wouldn't give them to me but maybe your T will. I'm a big believer in asking for what you need. Just also be prepared to hear no. Just because we need it doesn't mean the other person gives it. HUGS Kit

I have an appointment today with IOP individual T. I haven't seen her in over two weeks, since she sent me to the hospital. I don't know what to talk to her about today. If she was going to be my T for longer than IOP I would bring up the whole hospitalization thing. But since she isn't, it seems pointless to go over it with her. I just want to have a good session, not one that goes sour. I've tried writing notes for session but so far I don't have anything. It might be a note-less day. Sometimes those sessions come out best anyway. I'm just nervous.

I would talk about it. Obviously it bothers you. And your argument works in reverse: since she isn't going to be your long-term therapist, there is nothing to lose by talking to her about it. She's gone soon.

We did talk about it a little at the end. It didn't make me feel better. She said the text message from my case manager while I was at the hospital was premature, kicking me out of IOP. I'm still really hurt over how everything went down. But I am only going to see her two more times and it just seemed pointless to be that vulnerable with her to tell her that she really hurt me, badly.

Well i paid my rent and picked up my meds and took a shower and when i came home my hair looked really cute! So that cheered me up.

I have GOT to start exercising. I have REALLY turned into a slug since the pandemic. You know how you read in magazines how fat people say "i couldnt even walk down to the mailbox!" Thats about the shape i'm in. I took the bus to the pharmacy but i took an uber home. It was after 6pm and bus
frequency is 60 minutes, not 30 minutes as in the daytime. Really killed my appetite tho i will tell you. I think any weight i lost is just thru muscle atrophy, not fat loss. But hey my hair looks good!

You dont have direct debit over there? My rent, gas electricity are all direct debt a set amount fortnightly so the money i have left over is mine to what want. I am assuming that you physically went out to pay your rent with cash or cheque. I havent seen a cheque for many years i wonder if they still exist.
