I went for an early-bird walk this morning and had a long, tearful talk with my higher power. H and I are now getting ready to head to the hospital shortly. Will check in when I'm back home hopefully by late this afternoon!

Are they typically pretty nice people overall? That would be my first guess, they're nice to you because they're nice and you're nice back. (I assume. Heh.)

Thats a good point. Thats why i live in a college town. At least many of the people have been exposed to higher thought.

It's over and we just got back home! (trigger for medical details)
Possible trigger:
I feel pretty darn good, a little foggy from the anesthesia, they said when the pain meds they gave me start wearing off to take tylenol. I kinda doubt I'll need it, as any pain I feel will likely be minor compared to what I went through in June. Dr said she should have biopsy results by my 10/12 post-op appt.

Thanks for letting us know you're OK, Artie.

Had to skip the TW...hope the rest of your recovery goes smoothly.

Glad it's over so you don't have to be anxious about the procedure anymore. I hope your H is being supportive while you're recovering.

Glad you're home and feeling OK, Artie! I'm sure the wait will be difficult, but at least the procedure is done with. Hugs to you.

Thank you, comrademoomoo. I'm feeling really good today, so instead of taking the whole day off, I decided to work a half day. I didn't have enough paid time off for the whole 8 hours, I had the okay from my boss to use unpaid time if I needed to, but since I feel so dang good there's no reason to. Not a sign of cramping at all which I'm happy about of course!

I think I am very hormonal at the moment. I just ate a jacket potato for my dinner and I was really ANGRY that the potato kept falling off my fork IN THE WRONG WAY. Eating cake now. Outlook improving.

I'm glad you're feeling better, Artie! When I got my ovarian cyst removed, I felt relief that I didn't have it any me anymore. Felt the same with the IUD, though that felt like an alien inside me.

Still, I hope you're taking it easy and are being gentle with yourself.

I think that's what it is with me - relief that the "thing" is not in me anymore! And, relief that the procedure is over with is a pretty good feeling too. I'm not doing anything taxing today, just sat at my desk working for 5 hours (logged off 10 minutes ago) and now I'm going to go take a little nap. Then I'll crochet! And let H forage for his own food today

Also glad you're feeling better, Artie!

Scarlet, a previous gyno suggested I try an IUD for perimenopause symptoms, and I was just really creeped out at the idea of having something like that inside of me, so I get it. I hated having braces as a teen for a similar reason (well, they also often hurt).

So glad to hear that, Artie! And good that you don't have to wait till your doctor's appointment to get results.
