Hardly - the school pays him.

Eta - hes like the james bond of p. Maths - nobody does it better. Of course, i take total credit - i used to give him quarters on his quarter-birthdays. We had a family birthday every fixed sign of the zodiac (every three months). Just my dad was the odd man out. And mother and i were both dragons. But of course you all knew that! No wait - so was dad!! That explains a lot. Both were very charismatic. Nuts, but charismatic. The dragon baby doesnt fall far from the tree.

So, Hi there y'all! I happened upon this "Couch" thread. Thought I'd see what it's all about.
Is there a comfy "lazy boy" in the corner or something?😀

I like "Kitties and Hawks"...the KittyHawk reference!

Theres a cuddle puddle on the couch, or club chairs in the library along with the robot butler from the Woody Allen movie Sleeper.

Oh man, that "cuddle puddle" sounds comfy and inviting!

That's interesting...I love old movies but never saw Sleeper. Never knew there was a robot butler in any Woody Allen movie. That'd be a great trivia question!

Random and lighthearted:

Does anyone else wear their shoes all day at home? I literally haven’t left the house today but kept shoes on all day anyways. Anyone else just wear shoes all day for no reason?

I wear house shoes - like flipflops or birkie type things. If youre diabetic, you are not supposed to go around barefoot. Plus i dropped an x-acto blade somewhere, sometime... Plus my house is filthy-ish.

I’ve been looking for a suitable knock off brand of Birkenstocks for some time. I love them but would never spend the money on the name brand.

Hi Y'all

As far as shoes and feet go....as a habit, I always have shoes, sandals, or slippers on. I have ingrown big toe toenails, and if I stubbed my toes, I'd be screaming 😱😱😱😱.

I always have on some shoe or shoe like item - stepping on half chewed rawhide or some weird dog toy in my barefeet is very unappealing

Same for cat vomit. So I usually wear slippers in the house.

But not scuffs. I loathe scuffs. I need slippers with backs on them.

Shoes are the first thing off when I get home. Bra is second. I might wear slippers if it's cold.

Sometimes SAS is on sale for like $25. I am afraid of cork bottoms. Sas has regular bottoms and i wear them for like 10 or 20 years. God im old.

I also can't wear any sort of slipper without a back. I don't really like shoes without backs either. I struggle to keep them on my feet (even flip-flops).

I usually wear socks with rubber grips on the bottom in the house--lots of hardwood steps (townhouse). I slipped and fell while rushing down the stairs in regular socks years ago, so I avoid regular socks without shoes in the house. I have started wearing some house shoes at times, as I think walking on hardwood is now hurting my ankles and feet.
Thanks for this!
