Like they will mention something and you'll do or buy the same thing?

My current therapist and I already have a lot of random stuff in common and I've only seen her eat cottage cheese and that was about it.

Only thing I can think of was I heard my old one liked dinosaurs and once when I was manic in an impulsive-spending way and was also simultaneously in need of a backpack I bought a dinosaur backpack (which was $20 vs the boring $60 packs only slightly bigger for teens "too old" for dino and paw print backpack and I still have/use it daily).

@Mountaindewed I mirror a lot, sometimes it embarrasses me because I notice it or I notice others noticing it. What do you think of mirroring? What are your thoughts about why you might do it? I have I think mirrored therapists before maybe in terms of mannerisms or intonation. But when I was in therapy I would be fascinated by the moments when I could see the therapist starting to mirror my body language. I would think to myself, 'they're doing something, I'm watching their technique right now, what did I say that made them do that?'
