I've never dealt with any legit trauma but does my therapist still like think I'm worthy or whatever of her time? I don't really have any mental health issues right now so we spend the whole time talking about medical stuff and doctors appointments and fatigue and ****

Does anyone get what I mean? Like you aren't sick enough or whatever as her other clients and maybe she doesnt think you need therapy

Hi MD,

I have no experience with EMDR or any other specific trauma-related therapy techniques.
It may seem that the therapist is more involved with such methods, as they somewhat have to coach the client through the process.

It would be unprofessional for a therapist to consider whether a client is worthy of therapy, in my opinion. None of us can offer any insight into what your therapist is thinking, as we don't know her.

It's OK to use therapy as a container for aspects of your life that are hard to talk about with anyone else.

Hope that helps,

Lost

I emailed her about this an hour ago and she hasnt responded. I wonder if I hurt her feelings. She normally replies right away.

She replied back. She said no client is more important then another. She said we could try EMDR if I wanted to. I don't think its for me though
