Be your own therapist. Give yourself good, thoughtful advice.

Be with other people.

Join a church?

Read anything by Pema Chodron.

Buy audio meditation from www.healthjourneys.com
(I like Bellaruth Naparstek's Healing from Trauma tape).

Best of luck to you!

Take up a new hobby, one you've put off doing for years.

Seek out positive people who are not mean, selfish, angry, in your face. Being around "good" people helps me feel all is not so hopeless after all.

Read inspiring books. I have been reading a book recently about women with DID who lead productive lives. It is inspiring reading about their contributions and the ways they cope and even turn their DID into a strength. I'm drawing a blank on the name of the book, but if you are interested, let me know, and I'll look it up.

Try to pull from the things you learned in therapy before.
Do therapeutic activities: Draw, write, take walks, take hot baths, read a book, join a club, join a church, take a class, surround yourself in a place where your alters can feel ok to be out (working with kids?) and that is relatively low stress.
You can do it. any positive advice for me...
