I'm going to see a new therapist next week....Another female , but I don 't think I will have the "infatuation" problem with this one....

I've fallen back into a deep depressive hole again ....sleeping all time...irritable...crying...

I have to do something...My psychiatrist didnt want to increase any of meds until I can work out some of the depressive feelings with a new therapist...

I know one thing....I'm not going to sit on the couch this time and stare out into space....I'm going for broke and explaining every detail from start to finish....

then again maybe I won't....oh well

"just keep swimming"...."just keep swimming"

Good for you Brian! new therapist

I am glad you have a female therapist, I have a male therapist and it works very well.

Let us know how you get on.

I am glad you decided to find another t. Hopefully you can work through some of the issues you feel you have. Share as you can with your t. It will come in time. Sometimes trust takes a while to build. Don't be too hard on yourself. Let us know how it goes.

I am glad you are seeing a new therapist. You might really learn a lot about yourself if you talk about your past T experience. Hopefully this one will be able to help you work through it. In some ways, it is expected that you will transfer feelings to your T. I think talking about those feelings and where they are really coming from is how we grow the most. It is all part of the therapeutic process. I guess, I want to encourage you to go into this relationship with an open mind. Don't refuse to allow yourself to have feelings for your T. that will create a therapy block. But, it is good to work through the feelings as they happen--they have a lot to teach us. So, stay open and let the process unfold as it will...just keep being honest about your feelings and I think you will come a long way...you sure are motivated and seem ready to work on your issues.
