Tomorrow is my birthday...and I'm still single...

Each birthday, I wish for the next birthday to have somebody with me...and it never happens...It's interesting, I go date and have a boyfriend each year, I celebrate their birthdays, but not for my birthday!

I always find myself alone at my birthday...that's so strange

I think I'm getting so negetive towards finding a partner....that's killing me...yes...losing hope....I don't want to lose my hope....but there is no energy left in me to look around for a partner...

I know you you feel, Marjan. In the beginning I was depressed at the thought of spending my birthday by myself. But I decided to treat myself to a movie and to a restaraunt that I don't usually eat at. It really helped.

OH man do I know this feeling! And the thought that it happens when you're not looking, well I don't buy that anymore. But that's my happy crap and I won't blow your thread.

Just know I'm thinking about you! Mine is next month and I've been having the same thoughts. Other holidays aren't so bad but I HATE being alone on my birthday!

I am so sorry... I know exactly how you feel though, it is very hard to keep hope... but you must.

I have severe social phobia... but I find I can talk okay as long as it's over the net, not in real life on less I really really know you... well, the only person that I wanted a relationship with was Jess but I know it will not work because she is a mirror of me... but I want a relationship so bad, the last girlfriend I had was in 1997... that's how long I have been alone, I have no hope left... so I know exactly what you are going through.

I pray that you find someone to love...

Thanks phillygirl....I'm not really alone...my sister and her kids are here and they are taking me out....but I was really expecting Aaron would have at least call me or send me a note....he's the guy that I recently dated...
today I woke up and I don't feel that great....I hate to admit that, but all my energy is out of my body....I'm going to poll myself together and put smile on my lips and get out of home...I took two days off from work....
besides, I have lots of people to care about me....

I know this sounds so cliche, but... sometimes the best way to find something is to stop looking for it and allow it to find you.

Sometimes, when we are so engulfed in the act of finding whatever it is that we are seeking, we have the tendancy to overlook it, even if it's right in front of us, or as it passes before us. We over-emphasize our focus so much on that one specific thing which we are seeking that we sometimes simply don't see the whole that's in front of us.

Always keep the faith that you will find your love, (or that he finds you). He IS out there...It's only a matter of time that yours will come to pass.

Fate has a way of delivering us suprises when we least expect it. It's the faith that we maintain that provides us the allowances of that fateful day.

You have a beautiful soul, Marjan. And certainly cast an allurring aura. With that light casted, you are certain to attract one in the same.
Patience and faith are your ali's.....although that isn't much consolation, I know, especially with it being your birthday and wishing you had your honey to spend it with....(pretty hard to cuddle up to Patience or Faith, I know).

Lol...If its any consolation to you.....There comes a point in time that, for some, (such as in my case, tho...I think this has begun years ago...lol), once reaching a certain age, one tends to forget that a birthday is even coming to pass....(perhaps it is a subconscious thing in which some of us WANT to forget, lol)...though, I don't think that's my case. For me, my birthday had become "just" another day years ago...and I prefer that it isn't acknowledged...especially by hub.
I hope this won't be the case for you in your years to come....Not exactly a 'happy place' to be for someone who doesn't want to be there.
(I doubt this was much help......lol....sorry...I tries tho.....)

thanks...I know Jay....I know how you feel and what you went through....but I'm sure we will find somebody for ourselves and then we will celebrate the love....till then, we got to love ourself and not bit up ourself so much...

then we find....I think I'm mostly sad, because I was expecting Aaron to write me a note at least on my facebook wall...but he showed me that he doesn't care about me at all....well...it's really heart broking, but that's who he is...
and I agree, as I'm getting older, I want less attention for my BD
