Does this mean you can draw unemployment since you were "let go" instead of quitting?
![]() I'd be terrified to leave one job without a new one to take it's place. Living paycheck to paycheck'll do that to a person. I'm so happy for you. ![]()

Ha Ha Ha Ha....they so burned themselves! Now you can draw unemployment since "you can leave now". They didn't accept your resignation and fired you instead. They really ARE quacks! I don't know what state you are in, but in Michigan you have 10 days from the separation date to file.
Take 'em to the cleaners two-fold Pat! Reporting them to the state, and getting unemployment. YAY FOR YOU!!! I can SO relate to being in a high-stress work environment, then *poof* I got laid off. Good luck on those interviews, but I would definitely file for unemployment, to get you by, just in case. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Huge Hugz, Dolfin

Hullo Pat,
I know that feeling of having made a thrilling escape from a bad employment situation. I'd dearly love to go over the wall at the university where I work now. There's simply this exquisite pleasure in knowing that a supervisor who has made your life a bloody misery for a long time -- and to whom you had to kowtow -- no longer holds any sway over you at all. In an instant, they go from all-powerful to utterly powerless. How can you NOT smile when the mean and "mighty" are so deservedly brought down a peg so quickly? Cheshire Cat
