Now I know why I really like being alone.......FAMILY...lol....Im just feeling to overwhemed now. I wish I could just run out of here. I just dont like being apart of this family system anymore. Im just so tired of bull. Im sorry but Id rather be alone. Sorry for the negativity but Im not feeling well...sorry, Peter

(((Neurontin))) - sorry you're overwhelmed with this family visiting. I can relate to relishing time alone, not from my own kids but family of origin or extended family. I also don't like the phony feelings. Take some breaks, go outside and keep in mind they won't be staying long.

Neurontin, ditto on everything Lynn P. said.
My father is a jerk, when I visit, to help him with my mom, have to walk on egg shells. So sickening I loose weight. It is overwhelming, I want to go hide, am a loner too, so completely underatand.
Your not being negative, just honest, nothing wrong with that. It helps to get these things off your chest & get some support, so vent away!!
Sorry you're not feeling well today, hopefully when you get some alone time you'll feel better.

Sending peaceful thoughts your way.
Thanks for this!

Thank guys it feels great to know Im not alone. Today I just rested and like you said Kinda they did leave. YIPPIE....lol, thanks for responding Lynn. I sometimes just feel like an alien around them. I have nothing in common with them other than blood. All they do is point out my defects. They have more than me i.e. materially and they are still so jealous of me. I know why. I wont go into details but Im going to see my therapist tomorrow and bring it up. Thanks again, Clean

Well, they came to remind you why you are the way you are right? Good thing you have a T appointment tomarrow while all the bad stuff you had to grow up with is still fresh in your mind.

I too agree with Lynn's Post.

How long do they stay, and do they usually stay with you? I'm currently estranged from my in-laws because they visited so often and stayed so long that I nearly had a nervous breakdown. I liked them before they decided to come to stay so much. I'm a loner and the level of togetherness was more than I could take. They just think I'm being *****y because they're all extroverts and think there's something wrong with me.

I feel very similar to you but it was just a day. Im also introverted and they are all extroverted. Thank goodness it was just for a day. They surprised everyone. I was overwhelmed. Honesty I could do without them really...Be well, Peter
