I live with myself, my son, my brother, and his girlfriend. I know I have to get out of this situation. My brother is verbally and physically abusive, but only physically abusive to me.
I don't feel I have anywhere else to go. I don't work, just got my disability, but cant afford a two bedroom apt for my son and me.
On top of that his girlfriend can be a real pain in the *** too. Being rude, trying to be controlling.
They help a little with my son so it gives them the feeling that they get to be parents and give me grief that I'm not being good enough.
I just feel so stuck

I'm sorry you are stuck in this situation. I hope you are able to find a way to get out of there. You don't deserve to be abused. I would try anything you can to find a way out of there, good luck to you and thanks for posting.

I have to agree with Honey Bee -- is there a shelter nearby? A shelter would be better than being abused! The next time he abuses you, CALL THE POLICE. Have this idiot arrested! And if his wife is part of it, maybe she can go along too!

You don't deserve to be abused - and he shouldn't be outside of a jail cell.

See about a shelter in your area. You'd be much safer! God bless & please take care. Hugs, Lee
