At that site I'm a Guardian personality:

The Four types of Guardians are:

Supervisors (ESTJ) | Protectors (ISFJ) | Inspectors (ISTJ) | Providers (ESFJ)

I didn't pay the price to see specifically which type of personality I am. Another site said INFJ which isn't any of those above. Any other INFPs on this board? I see a consistency in the I, F and J in the pattern of these tests, though. This is pretty cool stuff.

Thanks!

KD

... Just a thought for those of you who are DID...you might receive mixed results or seemingly inaccurate results for your own self...from the M-B Any other INFPs on this board? You might test oppositely at different times...

Oh, Sky, that's right. It's one reason t never gave me an IQ test when I asked (also he said my intelligence wasn't at question...lol). I remember reading on the first site that one shouldn't take the test if they're like me. However, I did anyhow.

Thanks again,

KD

I had a pastor in college who claimed to be qualified to administer to Myers-Briggs test. In my college days, I was an INFP (17,17,13,26).
I (prefer to focus on the inner world of ideas and impressions) vs. E (prefer to focus on the outer world of people and things) I tend to thing this preferences is still true for me. N (prefer to focus on the future with a view toward patterns and possibilities) vs. S (prefer to focus on the present and on concrete information gained from your senses. I do have a tendency to focus on the future to the detriment. I forget to have fun in the present (constantly being reminded to have fun now). But, I do have a preference for dealing with measurable/concrete information. So, I am not real sure that this score holds true.
F (prefer to make decisions using values and subjective evaluation of person-centered concerns vs. T (preference for using logic and objective analyses in making decisions). I use both. However, I suspect that this has been trained into me through my schooling (BS in biology). P (like a flexible and spontaneous approach to life and prefer to keep your options open) vs. J (like a planned and organized approach to life and prefer to have things settled. I find myself surprised to see this score because I hate the unknown. I want to always know what will take place in the future.
INFP
"Full of enthusiasms and loyalties, but seldom talk of these until they know you well. Care about learning, ideas, language and independent projects of their own. Tend to undertake too much, then somehow get it done. Friendly, but often too absorbed in what they are doing to be sociable. Little concerned with possessions or physical surroundings."
I tend to agree with this description of myself except for the "full of enthusiasms" part. That could be because of my negative thinking tendencies. I have learned to be more extroverted in the work place because that seems to be required in retail.
This is an interesting topic.
PS. I am probably an INFP.
