I've liked this guy since March... He's kind, sweet, caring, and he just always made me smile. well... we went out in november but he broke up with me when the relationship was only 2 weeks old... Idk why... but it's just made me really heartbroken for some reason.
Maybe it's because he said all these things that made me hopeful that we could at least stay together for a long time.
He broke up with me because "he wasn't worth it." but then not even a week later he got back with his ex.... I'm thinking he lied to me...
I'm so confused ugh.

But yeah, depression and sadness has been keeping me away from this site, though I should've come on way more. I apologize. :c
I'm going to take a break from the internet again though, I need to stop getting on Facebook and seeing all the things the guy is posting about his girlfriend and whatnot...

Augh. I'm sorry I haven't been the best help, guys. I'm just.. trying..

I'm so sorry he hurt you. It sounds like it was just a short fling until he could get back with his ex, which wasn't fair to you. He's definitely right - he isn't worth it!

I had that happen to me YEARS ago. The guy I loved would hook up with me whenever he broke up with his girlfriend - and of course I put up with it because i loved him. He did this about 2 or 3 times -- I can't remember, it's been so long. LOL But finally, I'd had enough. It was just too hurtful and I couldn't go thru it any longer. So i didn't put up with it any more. But it broke my heart.
Of COURSE he just used me. There was no sex involved -- I was too young. These days it doesn't matter, but back then I was only 15 or 16.

You'll heal -- no one ever dies of a broken heart. You might feel like you will, or want to, but you won't. You just have to keep yourself involved with friends, and activities. Don't isolate! That's the worst thing you can do. I know that's what you WANT to do, but don't do it. Get out, and do stuff. You'll soon find your heart healing my friend. God bless you and please take care. Any time you want to talk you're welcome to message me. Hugs, Lee

You mentioned Facebook. I don't know if you are friends with him, or allow his status updates appear on your page, but unfriending him or blocking the posts would imo, be a good start. Although I didn't want to, I recently did this due to being in a similar situation with a good friend. Not having all the visuals/info may help you be able to focus on yourself, and not what he is up to.

Hope you can move on, and feel better. We're all here for you

My advice would be to ignore his facebook info all together. You do not need to know how his relationship with his ex is doing.

I agree with the blocking on facebook. Unfriending is the easiest way if you are friends with him on there. If it's a way that you keep in touch with others I'd suggest staying there and unfriending him. If you don't want to do that, which I can't imagine why you wouldn't, you can unsubscribe from his posts and they will stop showing up on your timeline even as you are still friends. I say go one step further and block him completely though. That way he can't come running back to you, messaging you because his ex broke up with him again!

Yes, thank you. I had to make the status updates stop appearing in my news feed because they made me feel so awful. Thanks ^^
