For a long time now I have liked a girl, heck even love her, I get tingles when I talk to her, she is the same age as me but distance is great, but that don't matter, what I wanted to get off my chest is that I use to self-harm but ever since I have falling in love I can't even think about it, I mean, I can't even touch my knife, I fell like she is the reason I'm here today, I need her, I want her, but it is complicated, but I will make it work, I can't give up on my love, not now, not ever

Maybe this person is filling a void you had in your life, perhaps that void is one of the reasons you self-harmed in the first place. I wish you luck and hope you find a better way to cope than cutting.

Wonderful that you've found someone special - am very happy for you!

I hope too that you never feel the urge to self-harm again. I do have a little thought tho - its unhealthy to put too much emphasis on one person. It's much healthier, and much better for you if you deal with why you self-harm, and do your best to get it under control. Why? Because if you guys were ever to split, or fall out, you may find yourself coping with it by self-harming once more. She, and nobody else for that matter, is responsible for your happiness. That's something that you have to find with yourself.

Hugs to you.
Thanks for this!

Agreed. Capitalize on the fact that you are not SI now and try to work towards making this state of affairs a norm, regardless of your surroundings.
