I'm thirteen, I know all about the different possibilities, what could go wrong if I approach him first. I'm not going to be like 'TAKE ME NOW!' but just talk to him, have conversations and get to know him more. I'm really not confident at all and I'm practically shaking in fear. What can I do to stop this and speak to him?
Thanks ![]() |

How well do you know him? If you know him a little, walk up to him, smile and say something non-commital. You can compliment him on his clothing, ask him a question about a school activity or a class, see if he has any suggesstions regarding what movie you should see or restaruant you so go to for dinner, ask him if he has any vacation plans for the summer, etc.
If you do not know him, approach him, extend your hand for a shake and introduce yourself. Then, start a conversation. He may be just as anxious to meet you. Whatever you do, good luck. Let us know how it goes. |

Find something that you both love. Either by talking to him directly or talking to his friends or having one of your friends chat with him. If you two have something that you both love, talking will be easy! For my husband and I at the beginning, we used to talk so much about sci fi shows. (don't judge me lol) like star trek and stuff. Maybe he's in an after school activity that you'd love to try.
