I heard from my old high school sweetheart...the one whose wife will be away for a month, during which time he asked to visit here. I just said NO. No reasons really, and he was kind and understanding re my response. I just know it would leave me emotionally devastated for a substantial period of time, and I don't want that anymore in my life. Plus! it is wrong. I wouldn't want to be married to a man who visited old girlfriends while I was away (though she said she knew of his plans!).

His wife knew he was going to ask his ex-girlfriend to visit him while she was out of town!? That's crazy if you ask me.

Good for you for sticking to your morals, it would be nice if there were more people like you
