To OP - I see that you now included your picture in your signature. I looked at it and realized that I wrote the right thing about the cognitive distortions. You have a lovely face and have nothing to worry about in terms of reality. There is nothing objectively wrong with your appearance - the perceived threat is all your BPD speaking.

Oh my goodness......really you need to stop wasting such valuable and precious time worrying, and making yourself sick over "whether or not" you are your boyfriends type and work on yourself!!!

By work on yourself I mean start at the bottom and work upwards......colour your hair and get a new cut.....doesn't have to be expensive......buy some new make up.....tr3eat yourself to a few new clothes......take up some exercise ....can be cheap n cheerful like going for a walk, jogging......swimming......start to feel better about yourself.

As for "boobs" issue......make the most of what you've got GF! Get a push up or some chicken fillets!! Buy some lovely underwear and start to feel a bit better about yourself and slowly your confidence and self esteem will pick up.

Get some female friends....they will give you the support and little helpful hints like these and help with makeup and hair et.....have some girlie pamper nights....with a facepack and a bottle of wine.....

We all do things like this.......they make us feel better and we have a good laugh doing it in the process!!

Its not about changing you....its about learning that you are a wonderful, gorgeous, beautiful woman who should be appreciated and adored!! You are merely enhancing the assets that god gave you!!

If you don't appreciate and adore and love yourself....how can you expect anyone else to do the same???...........sending you a big hug of support and get cracking....x
Thanks for this!

Don't let anyone hold this much power over how you feel about you.
