I've SO had it!!!

EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! I used to have a dog that would stalk the dirty diapers from my daughter!! She'd try to get to them before I rinsed them!!! EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

I think it is time -or should I say about time- to do things for yourself. You have done already so much to help others in so many ways. I can picture you being stretched out in all those different directions depending on who is calling. My own mother did the same in her life and I always keep her as an example in my mind, which helps me "draw the line" even though most times it doesn't work....
Being such a giving person these days has become so rare....that it almost startles people when they come across it. Sad isn't it?

I learned to say "no" slowly but surely but I started a long time ago. It's different when it comes to one's own kids, though. Even so, there came a time.

Being that I'm a helper and nurturer by nature, it's so difficult to stop even though you know it's not really appreciated. It hurts! It's so frustrating!

I've SO DAMN had it with the negativity and ill feelings so quickly engendered by individual view points, no matter how SKEWED or SO RIGHT ON!! Everybody is ready and willing to fight!!!! No one is willing to respect other's point of view, much less admit that theirs might just need a little adjusting! Heaven forbid that we just MAY be wrong! No one cares how their words and actions may affect someone else or the board in general!

Let's forget that we're all here because we NEED to change our wrong thinking!! It's not "I" that needs to change! It's "THEM"!!!!

IMHO -

I personally feel if all the MEMBERS of PC work on Acceptance/Mercy/Consideration/Compassion (of another) within them selves, and not try so hard to change another persons point of view, feelings, or thoughts (grown from them and their past) then we all will benefit from the improvement and this wonderful site will have gained from the CHANGE.... and all we have to do is render (and put into practice) this old saying:

Do unto others as you have them do unto YOU.

.... in other words treat each and every member of PC (no matter if they share your pov or not) the way you would want / desire to be treated.... and always with LoVe &amp; Respect at all times, and without anger or negativity - for those two evils will but only lead to resentment.
