I have always felt this way. Always. Trouble is that most people I've encountered over the years either don't feel this way in general, or just don't feel this way toward me. I know I sound very "poor me," but it's the truth. I've spent years trying to figure out why.

That happens to me, too. I still reach out, but to new people. I'm also starting to participate in a bunch of organized activities, like volunteer boards or clubs. That way, I get the social interaction without having to do a lot of work that makes me feel bad because other people aren't reciprocating.

It's a big experiment. I'm still trying to see what works. I'm kind of happier having activity partners at the moment as opposed to good friends.

I don't know if you all watch a show / movie called sex in the city or the L word or other shows that have girl friendship and I think that is what we want .

I know for that would be nice
